I felt the trade was fair enough given the leverage at play, the pick downgrades won't cost us much/anything as we won't use them, and even at pick 35 he's a total bargain for you.

Yeah, I was excited to get him before but was confused on why the Dogs rated him so highly. After watching that, you cant ask for much better from pick 35. Everyone should be pretty excited to see him and Pearce together for the next 10 years
I think I'm on par with a few posters here in that I don't know enough about him (yet). So for me, he comes in with no expectations, and gee that was a cheap trade for us! Looking forward to him tearing up the backline next year.
Gee whiz, Freo supplying the two most difficult to spot indigenous players in the AFL in Big Griff and Hamlin!!
The indigenous factor in our club is enormous and a credit to the players and the club.
