Yeah, as long as Gov, Yeo, Barass, Sheed, Kelly, Cripps et al all have another 6 years or so at their current levels.Based on this weekend I think West Coast win another flag before we do

My set shots kicking has improved immensely since I started following the kicking consultant on Instagram, it's actually wild how much better it actually got... and I'm not a professional, what I'm saying is that the content is out there and AFL players have a huge amount of down time so low-key surprised they don't have a session dedicated to embedding the mechanics of goal kicking. There are actual technical problems with some of Freos forwards and mids in their kicking for goal. ie problems that could be at least partially sorted and improved with actual coaching. Why hasnt the club (maybe they have) employed Pav or similar to sort it out.
Fyfe for example, (not limited to him) has bad technique that could easily be improved. He is also now at the stage where he is also mentally confused about when and where to kick it, especially in the front 50. Some simple instructions from the coaches could simplify his approach and give us a better result.
Its like we need to get a good Auskick coach down there and really go back to some basics. How does a dual Brownlow medalist who marks the ball 20 m out directly in front not have it on autopilot that he just goes back and kicks for goals??
the players are clearly confused about what to do and where to kick it when "connecting with their forwards".
I am about to get worked up so I will leave it here otherwise I fear this post will be transferred to the vent thread.
Don't tell people that in our game day threadsWe’ve had a very favourable free kick differential the last 5 years. Complaining about umpires is asinine.

Not sure if serious? How's your tipping going this year?No mate, I don't imagine these players will form part of the next West Coast premiership (maybe Barass and Kelly). I'm not talking short term, I don't think either club gets a flag in next 5 years. Freo has too many mediocre players on the list.
I have a feeling that this may be our retro guernsey for this year.View attachment 2016949
Not sure if it's unpopular but I want the purple haze back. Just give me one season with this banger so I can buy it again. I love the chevrons but it's been the same for 12 years now. Spice up our Guernsey designs, Freo.
Don’t worry, you’re totally wrong.Hopefully totally wrong but Chapman is just another Hughes.
soooo wrong lolDon’t worry, you’re totally wrong.
Chappy is probably in our top three kicks, Hughes is scared to kick the ball. Not sure how they could ever be the same. Hughes is another Dawson would be more accurate.soooo wrong lol

I disagree most vehemently, but I also support your right to share your opinion here.Hopefully totally wrong but Chapman is just another Hughes.
I was agreeing with youChappy is probably in our top three kicks, Hughes is scared to kick the ball. Not sure how they could ever be the same. Hughes is another Dawson would be more accurate.
I totally rate David King.
I enjoy his perspective and analysis and find it hard to disagree with his criticism of us, I think our Dockery ways drive him up a frigg’n wall at times, and fair enough.
I see it as him calling it for what it is, and when we ARE good enough, he’s going to recognize that.
I even enjoyed his off the record type interview with Schofield the other day.
There, said it.
They both have an 'h' in their surname. When you delve deeper, there are many similarities.I mean they both play defence, but I don't see many other similarities

I wouldn't trade any of our best 22 starting KPFs for Waterman. Would you?Willie Rioli and Jake Waterman would be the two best forwards on the Fremantle list, if they were dockers right now.
2024 Waterman is an absolute beast and what he's done this year has been awesome.I wouldn't trade any of our best 22 starting KPFs for Waterman. Would you?
And if he played against the Pies we probably win too. That our most important player is Freddy.
If he plays we win. If he plays a full game against Carlton we win. If he played against Port we win.
Ahh it was you who posted it. I remember reading it and strongly agreeing with you.And if he played against the Pies we probably win too.
Certainly seems that way doesn't it?
I posted our win loss ratio with and without him earlier and since he's been back I think that would have only improved.
I'd order one as well. I always wanted this to be our jumper. I have a white version (as I was over east when they used this jumper).View attachment 2016949

I agree 100%, way better than the generic chevrons we are stuck with.View attachment 2016949
