Did Pettigrew do anything equivalent to kicking 4 goals against the reigning premiers, winning the Showdown medal or putting in a match-winning and spoon-saving last quarter against Melbourne? If not then I don't see your point.

As in, has he ever put together a good 4 qtrs for us... and has he done it since 07.

Personally I'm sick to death of the Westhoff types that represent the PAFC. Sure, every so often they play really good footy, but for the better part they are either non AFL standard, or just plain scared. Justin takes both of those at times, and a handful of good games a year shouldn't make him immune to posters venting their anger at our current position - we are hopless at times.
A player should be soley judged on what he is for the better part, NOT what he's capable of when the planets align.
Until our players can cope with the expectations of being a person who represents the PAFC. Until our players know what is required to be lucky enough to represent our club. Until our players know there is a basic level of achievement required in every single game they play then I say let them be whipped, the more the better.
Enough said on pampering guys that "turn it on" for a handful of games a year then disappear into the abyss for the majority of games.
We are where we are for reasons. Until guys start to play to a basic minimum we are bottom 8 bound.
Justin's good is real good, his usual is very poor - even softish. Until that is eroded from our club we are going nowhere fast.
"Wow Justin you kicked arse in a couple of games this year, but the others you were gutlessly pathetic" Yeah, lets treat them like 10 year olds.
The rage is justified while it is justified, and currently it's very justified - especially to players like Westhoff.
Get serious or stop pretending you're a PAFC footballer FFS.

And that's all perfectly valid constructive criticism, which I'm all for. What isn't is implying that Westhoff didn't play a single game this year worthy of a single B&F vote, which is flat-out bullshit.
