Ballantyne could be the key. If he plays Dockers go in favourites. If he's out more like even money. We have a habit of getting beaten by a player running amok with ten minutes of brilliant football, Reimers did it yesterday and Goodes a couple of weeks ago. The players most likely to do that to us this week are Balla and Hill. One of them missing makes the likelyhood of that happening a little less.
Having said that I have learnt not to be too optimistic in the last couple of years and wouldn't be putting any of my hard earned on the Eagles.

Yep. Just utter confidence, the difference is plain to see. So many of the Essendon players lined up calmly and put it through, it was absurd.
Almost every single player for us doesn't want to take the shot. I firmly believe it is because the forward line spends so much time concentrating on how to generate goals at ground level from forward pressure, and as such, finding a player in a better position is preferred over taking a ping at the goals yourself.
If Pavlich was full time down there and calmly slotted 2-3 goals per game, there'd at least be some leadership and direction in the forward line. Instead, it's leaderless. Every forward line player wants to pass the buck.

Reckon you'll start your defenders the other way around
Grover on kennedy (as he's been playing deep) and mcpharlin on lynch with the intentionto hurt him going the other way.
Think MJ would take the resting ruckman - as neither are great aerialists - so you'd be hoping he could take them at ground level.
