The crimes he is being accused of, sexually assaulting a woman and then assaulting someone who tries to help her.

Unless some footage comes out that shows he is being falsely accused, it's over.

If convicted, the AFL will give him the year off like they did quietly to Elijah Taylor - then he’ll either be back at Collingwood on a new (much lower) deal or (more likely) he’ll join one of the other Vic clubs as a delisted free agent for 2023 in the feel-good redemption story of the summer.

More than likely if he’s found guilty but not given a custodial sentence he’ll find himself deported rather than get any form of community service. And given deported also usually means he cannot re-enter the USA that’ll likely form part of his sentence even if he’s allowed to return to Aus while awaiting trial.

Personally any man that sexually assaults a woman is a coward and deserves every bit of punishment. Blokes a dead set dropkick, obviously has priors from the incident in Kew a few years back. You'd honestly probably not even want him as a teammate after that, how can you look somebody in the eye knowing they're a dropkick and a piece of filth and play professional sports with them?
