De Goey hasn’t fired a shot since the 2018 GF.
Wouldnt go down well at North but I’d do Brown + 2020R2 > De Goey under duress but I’m not sure it’s a great trade for us.

De Goey is good, but let’s not think he is the same player as he was in 2018 FFS.

The whole thing is a slight gain to you because Browny kicks straight.
He’d be brilliant in a good team on the G and would probably win you the Premiership. Imagine him at one end and Moore at the other, you have Daicos’ and Stephenson and others who can fill the void.
Structurally at the very least, it makes a whole lot of sense. Culturally too.

I think they are saying he’ll be able to return in finals. Ten weeks takes it to around first or second week of finals.

Hands down the most overrated player in the AFL. The new Cyril Rioli. Gun players produce high level footy weekly. Degoey can seriously play, he just doesn’t produce often enough.

Inconsistent but we're seriously lacking top end talent like him.
Without Howe, Treloar, De Goey, Stephenson, Roughhead (5 of our top 10), all other players need to play against tougher matchups.
Just look at Pendles and Grundy today while effective, looks exhausted from having to do too much.
