What would be the trade for DeGoey from Carlton? Their first wouldn't do it we would need a pick with a player like .......... Charlie? Dow?
7 and their future 1st for JDG and 14

Not sure if we would want picks, we would probably prefer a player unless our cap is truly busting
I daresay it would be. It's a great deal for you guys because it allows you to get 2 first round talents this year (pick 7 and McInnes) and have two picks in next year's first round.

We don't want picks in next years first round. All indications are that we are actively asking the market questions about moving our current 2021 first out so that it doesn't get chewed up on Nick Daicos. Rumoured we are talking to Dogs; our 2021 first for their 2020 first. Clears them from having to use that this year on Ugle-Hagan too. We get two firsts this year, Dogs two firsts next year.

Maybe the rumours about a really big name from Blues heading home to WA are true. Seems to be the only way I could see them being able to afford ZWill, Saad and JDG! Is Jack Martin still on big bucks in his front ended deal?

McInnes will probably be bid on before either of those picks. And even so, those two first round picks gives you a chance to move up the order ahead of a Nick Daicos bid and get more points.

Yeah not sure on McInnes draft range, with little exposure this year and his ties to Collingwood NGA I'd be hopeful he gets to 20 odd. I feel like two mid/late teens picks this year (Pies/Dogs) may still be inside his range. We may also use one of those picks to land a Brown or Gunston type.

As for Daicos and 2021 picks; how do you move ahead of pick 1? :p

McInnes draft range is between 7 and 12 post JUH bid I reckon.

And no team will bid pick 1 on a father/son or academy player.

Except Knightmare, all of the industry professionals Callum Twomey etc all have him in the 16-20 range, so not sure where you got this from...

And even if it's unlikely for people to bid pick 1 onto Daicos, what if they do? What if we moved up to pick 3 and they bid at pick 2? Makes absolutely no sense not to prepare for this situation.

That poor reef kids back is pretty bad with fractures in the spine from afl recruiters so i would say anywhere from pick 18 to late 20s range im hearing could be the likely outcome but time will tell.
