My uneducated guess is that they want to get the balance right so he doesn’t go to hard and get a set back or reinjure. If I remember correctly JDG came back fit last year, but I wonder if he over did it at times in a bid to be super fit and take his game to a new level. Adding a structured program at the start of the preseason to overcome a physical vulnerability sounds wonderful. Along with his good attitude, going to set him up for his best year yet!

I got stranded there back in September on the way home from the UK
It's ridiculously hot and their airport is the best in the world.
That's where my knowledge of Doha starts and ends
But seriously, I think there's a specialist there they're seeing for his injury. I assume they wouldn't be going if they didn't think this person was one of the best to see for it

Really boring plastic city - just AC shopping malls and offices in massive towers - a few of them are cool towers and other buildings though. But you're right the airport is flash - Qatar Air is a good airline too.
