OR If what the article says is correct then saints won’t accept 32 just because Lethlean refused it in the first instance and he’s an egotistical prick and doesn’t want to be shown up, even though it makes no difference to the Saints... wouldn’t that be right.

FWIW I’d be just fine with that if we think we can get the same bloke at 18 as at 13 or if we have a view that the draft thins out AFTER the first 20.

If we’re giving up 13 this is the only way I can see it happening.
A 5 pick downgrade from 13 to 18 in this draft is pretty minor. If that’s all we end up doing on top of 32 we’re getting Bruce at a bargain.

Melbourne have traded for North's Pick 8, and there's speculation they may have been doing that for Cody Weightman (the pick we supposedly want with Pick 13). I reckon the chances of us using Pick 13 in this trade have gone up

This should be a pretty straight forward trade tomorrow I would imagine. Pick 32 plus a little steak knives. I'd imagine whatever it takes to satisfy Sydney to get Jones.
