I look forward to coming back to these posts on draft day. And if you are insinuating that I am trying to devalue Allison for some bizarre reason wouldn't the fact that I am pumping up Declan Watson deter that? Oh and I am basing my comments off the Div 2 champs in which I watched all of Queensland's games. How many of Queensland's Div 2 U18 champs did you watch honestly?

All of last years & only 1 thus far this year....I'll wait till the Allies play some real competition.
Unlike Keays, Allison dominated the comp as a 17 year old, ranking first on the champion data list, across the entire champs in 2015, as a bottom ager.
What he exhibited in those games, was an ability to make even lads 2 years his senior, look like primary school kids by comparison....I know what I saw & nothing you say will dissuade me nor detract from my estimation of him.
Brrizzy can play ducks & Drakes, or is that 'Darlings', all they like.....The boy has Bontompelli written all over him.

Have viewed first hand all Queensland Div 2 games. Bowes and Scheer have been the dominant players .
Jack Rolls has really performed above expectations. Declan Watson has been a rock in defence especially in the latter two games.
Allison's been disappointing - especially when playing in the midfield. I think he's best suited as a tall wing or third tall forward / back. He doesn't appear to have a specialist team role and I don't see that changing in the Allies setup .
I was talking about the Brisbane academy players only.

Umm Keays was AA in his underage year...
"Brizzy can play ducks and Drakes, or is that 'Darlings', all they like" Oh yeah because what a few Lions fans on BigFooty have to say will actually have an impact on where Allison is drafted and if we say that others in the academy have outperformed him so far and that he isn't a top 10 prospect that will have an impact on his actual draft placing. Yep we definitely have this big agenda we are trying to push to benefit our club
Oh and the fact that you have only seen 1 game so far tells me all I need to know. Trustee, I'd love for Allison to improve and perform really strong for the Allies and become a genuine top 10 draft prospect, that can only be a good thing for my club, but I am not seeing it as of yet. Rolls has outperformed Allison so far and Watson has impressed the majority of those who have watched the Queensland Div 2 games more than Rolls and Allison have.

Realise that - should have answered 2nd poster - was trying to support your argument re Allison. Really hope he can improve during the Div 1 games - he's not showing what he is capable of ATM IMO.

My views:
Mostly my movers are non-Div 2 players, hence why Declan Watson not in my top 50. Only reason Connor Byrne dropped 15 is because he didnt make the Allies squad. Recruiters at 3 different clubs have been quoted as saying the games dont mean a pinch of you know what really and its all up to the performances at the Div 1 Champs, this is why there isnt much movement in my Div 2 state players in my top 50.

Maybe those three clubs were the only ones not present at these games ? Seemed a lot of recruiter interest from my observation.
Also hope the Allies kick arse to.shut down this typical Southern State arrogance ...

Allies have got a serious shot, i've got them finishing 2nd overall behind Vic Country, their list is really good just how well and how quickly they gel together is the issue for them in terms of winning gamesWouldn't mind seeing that tbh.....If Allison starts pulling his finger out & getting serious, then I fully expect to see it happen anyhow..

It will but overall Country have easily the strongest squad going. As much as it pains me to say Metro will come last, expecting WA in 3rd and SA in 4th

going to change things up in my mock draft, im going to be doing an NBA-Style draft lottery in mine, similar to what the AFL are proposing and what the herald sun did yesterday. But there will still be my normal mock draft with bidding, and ill have a link going with player profiles.

like my big board is a bit different its more weighted 60/40 towards current season performance than overall draft ranking. But if i did a mock draft he'd be top 20-25, but his start to the season wasnt great but the weeks leading into the champs he really turned it on and got back to his 2015 form. I wont release another big board until after the Champs are finished, so there will be a big shake up in my current rankings once that is all said and done.
