Pretty surprising to see the Floating Feathers chucked around. I thought it was always disliked by the general Crows, and AFL, fraternity?

It's just so plain! Look at it! For something purposely untraditional, it's very deflated and boring.

Call me odd, but I've always liked this jumper:

It's very complicated I know. But it's pretty interesting, and personally, it reminds me of a strong time in Adelaide history... which sounds odd, I know. Last year, a bloke at training would aaaalways wear it. The angle of the colours and the crow just looked big. It's just a guilty pleasure, I guess.

You're odd. Just kidding. I reckon those two are shockers..don't mind some of the yellow clash jumpers put up for Adelaide previously though. Those two just look too messy.

The Adidas side panels seriously screwed that design up. Rip them out, make the back a red bottom and gold top. Much better.

What's with Adidas and adding unnecessary things to designs? Collingwood's jumper would look better if it didn't have those random curved lines on the sides.

I liked the 90's big crow jumper better.

Other than the heritage monogram ones, I don't think I've liked any of Adelaide's away/clash tops.

EDIT: That's not true, I also liked this one and the variations on it, from 99-2005.

Do the Crows wear their home jumper when they play at the Gabba against Brisbane? If not, then the above won't solve that (AD - BL) issue.

Also a possibly clash against Essendon, deeming both of their strips inappropriate.

The crows wear there clash jumper when they play Brisbane. I'm thinking it should be used as an away jersey and then they us a yellow clash similar to there heritage jersey a couple years ago.

Thought rather than post a whole new set, I'd just quote an edited post.

After thinking about it, I decided that while I liked my new designs, I wouldn't be happy with the saints having 3 different jumpers when we don't need to. I just thought if I had my way it'd be much simpler just to have the tri panel for home, with a white back for the clash.

If the AFL complained about the white clash "not being sufficient" all you'd have to do would be point at Windy Hill

What I think the Lions logo should look like next year (and the marketing campaign).

This should be the main logo used for merchandising etc.

The logo on the left should be used on training gear, media polos and the home jumper. The middle (paying tribute to the Bears) should be on the clash jumper and the logo on the right (paying tribute to Fitzroy) should be on the away jumper.

Home kit - For all home games.

Home kit (white shorts) - For away game v GWS and away finals.

Away kit - Away v Collingwood, Geelong and Hawthorn.

Away kit (white shorts) - Away v Carlton, Essendon, Melbourne, North Melbourne Richmond, St Kilda and Western Bulldogs.

Clash kit - For away games v Gold Coast Suns and Sydney Swans

Clash kit (white shorts) - For away games v Adelaide Crows, Port Adelaide, West Coast Eagles and Fremantle.

I didn't hate the red one but it wasn't great either and we always lost in it so that's why most crows fans hate it. The yellow one is great and I love it, Adidas wrecked it with the ridiculous side panels and in the second year the stupid things going across the back and the bib which was atrocious.

Papyrus :eek::eek::eek:

In all seriousness, your intentions are good, the kits are great and well thought out, but no way would a club have four different logos. That is where the idea falls down imo.

Ahh Papyrus, how you've helped me over the years.

I would have thought Adelaide's simplest and best idea for their away/clash would be to swap the navy and the gold. No swoops and swooshes, and no crappy cartoon Crows.

As many of you might've seen, the Eagles banner was gold.

How often do they use a golden banner?

I hope the yellow peril is going to sneak back into rotation for 2012. The conspiracy theorist in me believes it will.
