Thanks. I personally reckon when a team creates a clash jumper they do with essentially the same pattern as their home jumper. I always thought Melbourne’s best clash would be your royal version well before you eventually chose it. Because it had a heritage and still uses the same pattern and close colours too. And it uses our (bulldogs) beautiful colours 🤣 so we could use yours occasionally too. Lots of sporting competitions have teams with overlapping colours that still retain their identity.

Purpose of a clash jumper is to solve a clash issue, not create more lol
There are some instances against say Geelong or North it would help with Bulldogs. The problem is thinking one clash jumper solves all clashes but it makes things worse in some instances so a third helps. And with the Bulldogs being royal blue, that means they are kind of in the middle of the shades and could go darker or lighter to help avoid certain clashes.

I am wary to post this because I'm fairly certain there is already multiple pages of Prison Bar debates on this thread, but during my SANFL portfolio I created an "alternative" Wharf Pylons jumper for Port to wear, the blue represents the Port River, and the water at Port Adelaide, the WP are white because they always have and always will be, and the top is grey to represent the industrial nature of the town.

This might be the best interpretation of a "compromised" Prison Bars guernsey that I've seen in my years here, would actually make a decent clash jumper. I guess having the silver in that top section, along with maintaining the white bars actually works quite well.

this is my idea for a one off port jersey was thinking gather round and it would be called the "power outage" kit

Definitely wouldn't call it a power outage kit, as that has been a common insult for the team since I can remember.

Port should use their 2007 Planet Teal jumper as their clash strip with the AFLW clash back. It reminds me of The Crows 2024 clash guernsey which is quite popular.

They should definitely not do that.
Something else other than the V's for the clash would be good for a change. Even that 1997 preseason guernsey they used last year would be a better alternate guernsey, even if they had to change the back of the uniform.
