Jumpers for 2008

I'm assuming that our Playing jumpers are going to stay the same in 2008.

What changes would you like to see to our playing strips?

Also What Heritage Jumper would you like to see us wear in 08?

Personally I'd like to see our Blue/white/Gold jumper canned and Maybe a Jumper like this introduced as a clash when/if we need it.




As for 2008 Heritage jumper, I'd like to see this beauty get the nod.

That jumper was the Jumper the eagles wore from 1996 to 1999 according to Footyjumpers.com

That gold one is a snorter. I'm usually not for logo's on the front of a jersey but that one looks sensational.

those are both great! I don't rate the current 3 stripe at all... never have, though the new logo improved it a fair bit

I never understood why the old predominatley yellow jumper was lost... makes sense to have that as our away jumper or clash jumper... both look sweet..

I agree 100%.....cant beat the royal blue jumper with royal blue shorts on grand final day 06.....was a sight to behold especially with the contrast to the red and white.

I hate the navy blue...looks too much like richmond colours

The club has made a choice to use navy as our primary shade of blue... in some respects yes it's rocket science, but the consequences for the club in getting rid of navy from the logo, branding, merchandise etc would be significant.

I purchased that predominantly yellow jumper in January 1988 on my one and only visit to Perth, only to find out a few months later that the club had binned the design. Oh well.

I like his jumper design, I think this with your 2006 Grand Final winning jumper is a pretty good wardrobe to have long term.

I never liked the two different blues on two different jumpers, I think it should be one or the other.

They actually did.

Shocking piece of marketing there.

a) Bright, colourful will trump traditional 99 times out of 100 with primary school kids.

b) a new jumper means kids want a new jumper. I'm pretty sure that's no problem to primary school kids around Subiaco, and I don't know how wide the pool of school kids polled was.

To be honest I'd just like to see these two as our main jumpers.

I don't know why our club has taken the direction it has done with jumpers this century.

I HATE our current vertical stripey one, it looked ok but then they put the eagles head on it and now it's ugly and cartoonish.

The old Eagles head looks a bit dated but the new one with the ochre is stupid too.

too easy and the best strips by far.. I wish i could still buy the yellow one from the year we wore it in the heritage round...
