Who is the Akermanis in our future? Yes he was/is a knob but a very important x factor player in that golden era.

This player has not emerged yet.. Maybe we draft him this year or 1 of weedon, Broome or Neates become that type of player.

Why the comparison, Stevens is taller, faster and Stronger overhead?

I see them playing a similar role in the midfield. I agree Stevens is a better marking option, which is good for rotation purposes, but if he's going to get a game, I think it's got to be as clearance midfielder. Do you see Stevens playing a different role?

Also, I say trade Stevens, if you're not best 22 in a top 4 team by your 2nd season, you should be traded. There's no time at West Coast for reaching your potential - we should send that message.

Koby Stevens 187 and 82 (according to wce website)
Kane Lucas 188 and 82 (according to carlton website

From TV I didnt realise Kobe was that tall. Given his WAFL development (at time on TV he looks to have out grown WAFL) he is a great prospect.

With Kobe, Shep, Brennan, Swift perhaps and others we look to have a good development crew. if two or three force their way into the 22 by offering more than an incumbent we will be a real chance

what a great situation, real competition from good young players who know finals action is up for grabs.

Would definately have to say Koby. Love the way he goes at the ball, always desperate to win it too. I recall some sweet tackles in 2010, big strong boy. Would love to see him in the guts at some stage, was an elite inside mid pre-draft, and showed great WAFL form this year.

The crappy WCE site has Koby listed at 83kg, but he seems bigger than that. He looks all of 88kg. He's a beefy lad.
