I know Macca23 a while ago tried to have a debate with them, but would it be worth it to try again.

That was too easy though.
Studley was actually in the same corner as me whick left Kenny baby to debate his position without assistance. Off memory that ended up with at least 12 minutes of air time with about 4 of it taken up by KG stumbling and stuttering under pressure. Too easy - not really a fair fight!!
On another occasion I actually made Cornesy retract a statement he had made and also give an apology - how rare is that
. I didn't have the heart to ring Cornesy up the next night and tell him I found out the next day that he was actually right!! You can only win an argument or debate with these guys if you can control the conversation by making them participate on equal terms either by persuasion or provocation. They always have the big guns otherwise of being able to turn you down and belittle your comments, irrespective of how valid your points are.
Timing is everything and going by the comments made here so far, the timing doesn't appear to be now, as a fixed pre-judgement appears to have been arrived at by the pair of sporting gurus.

Bagging KG is kinda senseless these days especially where the internet is concerned as he just can't seem to grasp what it's actually for.
With Cornesy well he is never wrong & even at those very rare occasions when he has been proven wrong he is still not wrong.
As with Rucci we don't have to read or listen to anyone we don't have to, but not i as i am a gluten for punishment.

I still don't see what the problem is.
We bagged Perrie because in our opinion his performance(s) warranted it.
Rucci, KG and Cornes bagged us because in their opinion we deserved it.

I expect however, that they're unable to to become involved in such a forum themselves, to get a real understanding of things, cos they are afraid (probably cos Today-Tonight told them so) that if they go on the internet, their idenity will be stolen by nigerians, who will empty their bank accounts and rape their pets.

While I wasn't one of them and criticised those that did, I still believe the latter are entitled to their opinion as unpalatable as it may be to some. Nothing I saw could be construed as slanderous or in any way illegal and was certainly no worse than some of the tripe I heard at the Essendon game.
It wasn't just a bagging for a simple difference of opinion though, there's a big difference.
Their counterpoint was the usual fire and brimstone speech about gutless cowards on the interwebs who say nothing but slanderous and libellous things because they're hidden behind a veil of anonymity, and furthermore, the day is coming when we'll all get hunted down and assumedly dragged to jail by Fascisty McFascist for it.
It was the usual backwards 'tar everyone with the one brush based on heresay and preconceived notions about the net' tirade that you usually hear from 50+ year old technophobes with no idea, or certain journalists with an agenda and nothing better to write about.

I disagree. It's not purely the medium (the internet) that those three had the problem with. Don't you remember Rucci crapping on about some Crows fans he had overheard talking at ETSA park? What they don't like is the fact that 1) we bag our own players, quite savagely in some cases and 2) when it is on a forum like this can do so with complete anonymity.
Don't get me wrong, I think they are incorrect and as you have mentioned are completely oblivious to the mountains of criticism and abuse that is churned out every single second on the internet about every person/topic imaginable. I'm just saying that it is hypocritical of us to criticise Perrie and expect him to be able to take it as 'part of his job' but we can't cop any criticism in return, whether it is justified or not.

That's fine.
But this idea they have that one day we should be hunted down like dogs and arrested via our IP for posting opinions is just silly.
No problem with that, and no disagreement. But Perrie was not abused in the way that Rucci is leading people to believe, and I question whether Cornesy/KG would even know what was said in this thread.
I'd say KG and Cornesy have no f'en idea what was said and Rucci knows this, hence the reason he deliberately distorted the truth and got away with it. KG and Cornesy lapped it up and bought it without questioning it. Ridiculous.
