A few people putting Violet Town above the likes of Nagambie, Stanhope and Avenel. I agree they will be a very good side up forward and in the middle, I'm curious as to whether they have they signed any outstanding defenders?

Of course it's all well and good when you're consistently winning the ball in the midfield, but the other top sides have the likes of Coad, Hutton and Tyers holding their backlines together.

Don't take offence to it mate, it's called having a joke! Personally it doesn't really phase me at all where everyone thinks we or anyone else will finish..... That's the beauty of an opinion mate, everyone is allowed to have 1..... Depends on their knowledge as to how accurate it is.....

Luckily for everyone the season is only 5weeks away so we'll all get to start seeing some results as to how teams will shape up for the year....

Yer your right Doc I don't think there will be much between the top 4 this year , Avenel has been quiet on who the recruits are because as l have stated before anyone we spoke to or approached a certain GV club would ring them about 3 days after we had , not sure who was telling them but it sure was fun putting a few false names out this year.
