I seriously doubt we trade you this years first rounder and next years for Neale. As good as he is, he isn’t worth a top 5 pick and a top 10 pick. We might well be trying to get you that pick in the later teens to go along with 5.

I think both teams comes to a suitable agreement or more than likely, other parties are involved. No doubt with where you are at you need to take a hard stand.

just talking about maybe coming back to potentially try fill a gaping hole in your (still) employers ruck division for a year, after a year of retirement, is different to actually making it through a preseason, playing 22 rounds and then playing four finals.

we'd be expecting Jesse to do that six times over if we paid two first rounders and a million or so bucks a season.

Brisbane values it's current player list too much. Lot's of young talent that needs to mature, not too many old blokes, but those old blokes that are there are too valuable to lose because of how young the list is. The only player who is going out that's confirmed is Mayes. Don't believe anyone else wanted out except maybe Keays, but he wanted to go to the Suns apparently. Everyone else is untouchable at the moment except Frost, but you won't want him.

Also, already stated this, Freo wants pick 5 to entice Melbourne and a pick in the teens to get Lobb. A rumor that went around, which was debunked, said Freo asked for Hipwood.

So if no-one (of value) wants to leave, or is expendable, I fail to see how Bris gets this deal done unless it's 5 plus 2019 1st. Maybe with a 2019 2nd or 3rd coming back.

He leads the possessions in the AFL, he still has a loads of years left in him - why in Hades would you just hand him over for the possibility of a 17 or 18 year old that may or not be a great player in 5 to 6 years time? Freo have developed Neale for what? I feel very let down by him and insulted by Brisbane - we are all enduring this 'rebuild' and would have had a much better season if Fyfe wasn't injured, now we have to go further backwards because someone wants more $$ and an 'adventure' at a club that has even less prospects than Freo.

We'd give you a pick (or picks) back if you gave us both firsts just like the Treloar, Lever and Gibbs trades. Our future 2nd (without Neale) is likely to be very close to a 1st rounder back (ie we'd unlikely rise up the ladder losing our reigning B&F). You guys should climb up the ladder so the gap between your 1st and our 2nd wouldn't be that great.
