Port ruckman Ladhams lives with Adelaide player Billy Frampton and while the AFL has also investigated the conduct of the Crows tall, he is expected to be exonerated.
It is understood the Crows are comfortable with his conduct on the night of August 3.
While ex-Power player Frampton was in the house at the time, he did not have any contact with the people who were invited in by Ladhams and Houston.
He was able to satisfy the AFL of his conduct on the night.
I just sat in my room the whole time - honestly !

Like I said earlier as they didn't break state laws unlike the sydney guy the afl will have a tough time suspending them for the whole season even if they wanted to so I'm expecting 5 matches the rest of the minor round and then be available for finals. But by then the guys may struggle to get a game if others have stepped up in thier absence especially Ladhams.

Billy wasn’t home, but wouldn’t he have to have been? If having people over your house breaches rules than staying elsewhere overnight would also breach rules? I couldn’t care less whether billy was involved or not, did something right or wrong but it doesn’t add up.
Amazing how Billy somehow managed to be both "not at home" and "in the house" at the same time.

If they were players of a different club I'd be asking for them to get a heavy penalty. I won't be hypocritical. If they deserve it, they should get it. When will professional athletes realise that there are rules to follow? And that social media is their worst enemy?

AFL players are dumb. Expected better, especially from Houston.
You would think based on previous punishments, they would be getting a 4 week ban, even with the Port tax. but this doesn't allow for the 'make an example' loading, so who knows.

Yes you are right.. we would be calling for the AFL to throw the book at oppo players. The difference is they wouldn’.
And as for the player in Perth he was a rookie and not first 22 and unlikely to play anyway and broke WA law.

Incredibly foolish from both, they should both be forced to pay the club fine direct from their own pockets. If they are suspended let's hope the silver lining is Westhoff and Watts come back into the side and finish off their careers with a Premiership.
