Bears ruckman, rock superstar and genuine good bloke U2tigers is celebrating 100 games of quality qooty this Sunday when the Bears take on the Bombers. g industries™ was commissioned by a shadowy figure to write some words for a piece celebrating his career to date. I really hope this passes muster because I quite like my right knee as is.
Joining the SFA in S25, U2tigers played 91 games for the West Coast Wonders before moving to the Bears. We thought it'd be nice to give his former and current captains (haydo, Dingster, Sab22 and Test Tickle) a chance to comment. Despite all our efforts* to get in touch none of them bothered to reply. So below are comments we've ascribed to them, which we think fairly reflect what they might have said.*may not have happened
Haydo: Who?
Dingster: Where Did It All Go Wrong?
Sab22: Piss off minnow.
Testy: Bono has brought plenty to the Bears post-game showers and I'm looking forward to him developing his shower presence as our journey together continues.

gratuitous del Toro gif for del Toro Saturday
We asked the great man for comment*, but in true rock star fashion he snubbed us. So we made some sh*t up using U2 lyrics, album and song titles. It's what he would have wanted. My knee hopes so anyway.
g industries™: U2 tigers, congrats on 100 games. Tell us why you joined the SFA and why you've stuck around.
U2 tigers: I came to the SFA In the Name of Love, I stayed so I could learn How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb.
g industries™: Umm. OK. How has that gone?
U2 tigers: I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For.
g industries™: Of course. Are you looking forward to your 100th game, and what can we expect from you on the day?
U2 tigers: Achtung Baby, Tomorrow...it's just Another Day of qooty War. It's Even Better Than the Real Thing, we won't Surrender. I'm looking forward to the after party at The Playboy Mansion and playing some tunes around The Unforgettable Fire by The Joshua Tree. What A Celebration of Desire. There'll be Slow Dancing, plenty of Things to Make and Do and I'm sure the coke will be White as Snow. I'm hoping we'll also be partaking in another Miracle Drug.
g industries™: Indeed. How have you enjoyed your time at the Bears?
U2 tigers: It's been Heaven and Hell.
g industries™: I see. Are the Bears in with a shot at a premiership in S30?
U2 tigers: Soon we'll be One (hesitates) One Step Closer. We're in With a Shout...Are You Gonna Wait Forever?
g industries™: Well no, I guess not. But please - I'm the one asking the quest-
U2 tigers: Please, Boy, I'm Not Your Baby and I aint no Drunk Chicken. I'm an Original of the Species. My Pride won't let you just Rattle and Hum until October. Get on Your Boots, take All That You Can't Leave Behind and do a Disappearing Act. Cos when Love Comes Tumbling...When Love Comes to Town in this Cartoon World we need to Rise Up at the Speed of Life to find a Window in the Skies of Mercy. Rejoice, Babyface, Levitate and Smile. With or Without You, I Will Follow your Mysterious Ways to Where the Streets Have No Name. You'll Sleep Like a Baby Tonight after I sing you some Songs of Innocence. Remember that Some Days Are Better Than Others, all I want is Peace on Earth. Love and Peace or Else. I’ll Go Crazy If I Don’t Go Crazy Ton-
g industries™: Well things seem to be going downhill fast. We'll end it there so our readers aren't subjected to the entire U2 back catalogue. Thanks for your time champion.
U2 tigers: Is That All? So Cruel.
g industries™ very proudly presented a concert by U2 at the Stadium in the Sky to celebrate the big fella's 100th game, featuring all of the captains U2tigers has played under. Our intrepid hatchet man tony procured some footage of the show. Best not to ask how he got it.
So on Sunday Bloody Sunday we at g industries™, and possibly some other people around the league, wish you a Beautiful Day U2tigers. Congratulations on 100 games legend and we hope you stick around for many more.
Please note: tony did all the hard work here, but I'll gladly accept your thanks on his behalf.
You're welcome mate. U2 and I just wrapped a few words around tony's exceptional work, based on Muddiemoose's fantastic idea. It was a true team effort.Mate, cheers brilliant stuff, and if I ever had any doubts about U2 being the best Rock band ever, well I don't now.
How much great Music do they have.
Congratulations again U2tigersCongrats on 100 games U2tigers.
Amazing work guero. Thanks for the brilliant idea Muddiemoose. I think we just proved why we are the best rookies.
