RP has been at the Bears since S22 and has remained loyal and a regular presence in our team through different eras, leadership groups and rebuilds

Bears ruckman, rock superstar and genuine good bloke U2tigers is celebrating 100 games of quality qooty this Sunday when the Bears take on the Bombers. g industries™ was commissioned by a shadowy figure to write some words for a piece celebrating his career to date. I really hope this passes muster because I quite like my right knee as is.​

Joining the SFA in S25, U2tigers played 91 games for the West Coast Wonders before moving to the Bears. We thought it'd be nice to give his former and current captains (haydo, Dingster, Sab22 and Test Tickle) a chance to comment. Despite all our efforts* to get in touch none of them bothered to reply. So below are comments we've ascribed to them, which we think fairly reflect what they might have said.​

Mate, cheers brilliant stuff, and if I ever had any doubts about U2 being the best Rock band ever, well I don't now.

You're welcome mate. U2 and I just wrapped a few words around tony's exceptional work, based on Muddiemoose's fantastic idea. It was a true team effort.

xenxen debuted back in Season 24 with the Wonders before being traded to the Roys midseason, where she won the coveted PTizzle award for Best 1st Year Player . She moved to the Ruck in her second season in the league and with the Roys and starred – winning a flag and making the All SFA bench alongside Headless . xen moved to the Dragons in S26 and was part of a rebuilding leadership group alongside Hatchy1992 before finding her forever home here at the Bears in S27. She was a regular and steadying presence on and offield for a couple of seasons as we rebuilt our team under JWS in the midst of multiple departures around us. xen took a much deserved break last season to recharge before making a highly anticipated and successful return to her coveted Int-2 this season. Her sweet exterior but tough interior perfectly epitomises the bear spirit.


A couple of opposition players have summed things up perfectly :)
And gun midfielder I Dont Care has once again shown that he does indeed care

AceAndy : Nice work on clocking up 100 games Xen :thumbsu: Always great fun in match threads and i dont think i have seen anyone who enjoys the bench as much. Really seems to have found a great place at the Bears and enjoys the shower culture and I am told is the first in after every match. Congrats on game number 100 and here is hoping you stick around for another 100 showers.

Dingster : For someone that's had to show some resilience, it's great that you're enjoying your qooty at the Bears. Play qooty on your terms and have fun. Grats on the 100 and hope you replace U2tigers on the field and get BOG.

I Dont Care : Congratulations on reaching 100 games xenxen! We should have cake, sausageroll make a cake, stat! And put lots of whiskey in it, xen loves whiskey. Now where was I...oh yes, congratulations xenxen on such a marvelous achievement, not bad for a discarded rookie!
