Ahh yes, I was told one of us failed to read the very tiny 'golden' in front of the word 'showers' in the contract. I guess that mystery's solved then! What fun!

I wrote a haiku. Well that’s not strictly true. I’m writing a haiku but I’m battling. Not enough syllables you see. Stupid haiku. So it’s a work in progress really, but I thought I’d share it anyway.

It’s about getting past my arcotophobia to the feeling of ‘home’ that comes with joining this great qooty club.

Bears. All around me.
Their claws click on hardwood floors.
Fear? No. I am home.

As with yours - a brilliant last line to bring it home! I like the question you pose, inviting the reader to really think about the choice.

It’s why I’m battling with my bear haiku - the last line is trash. I’m deeply attached to the hardwood floors line, particularly the alliteration of clicking claws. But I might have to abandon it to improve the impact of the whole piece.
