At least Adelaide didn't get to pick him in the PSD.
Hopefully we're just building a little arsenal to upgrade some picks in a stronger draft. On the bright side, we are set to hit the 4th round HARD in 2016!!!!
Our 3 picks there will probably end up being worth 350-400 points, could make a handy difference.Hopefully we're just building a little arsenal to upgrade some picks in a stronger draft.
This article explains why we got a packet of chips for him...no one apart from the swans wanted him, and they had to keep their picks for the academy boys

"Dogs list manager Jason McCartney told the Herald Sun it was hard to strike a fair trade for Talia with Sydney the only interested club.
The Crows and Essendon were linked to Talia — the grandson of Bulldogs premiership player Harvey Stevens — but McCartney said only the Swans wanted him.
“They didn’t have a lot to give up and we were in a predicament where we were looking at getting nothing,” he said.
“Through our investigations over longer than a two-week period there wasn’t the level of interest and it’s difficult with what’s going on in the background too with the AFL investigation.
“In the end we were probably going to get nothing, so we got a future pick which we’ll use.”

TalAdia, was worthless, should have made the complaint to the AFL today.
I'm prophesying the 2016 Sydney 4th rounder will become a well decorated 300 gamer for the Dogs.
I Must remember this post in about 20 years time to claim some bragging rights.
I’m usually the first to blindly accept the clubs word on these sort of matters but I think this is bs. Sydney held us over a barrel yet people are saying we’re fostering a good trade relationship?
They did have tradable commodities. In the final 2 hours they traded pick 23 to WC for picks 36 & 37. That is a net value of 985 points. Our second third and fourth round picks totalled up to 943 points.
Now surely a trade of 23 for Talia and those 3 picks would have been fair from Sydney?
Maybe the club didn’t like that trade, although I find that hard to believe when we traded pick 11 down to two picks just before it.
We could have entered the draft with picks 20, 21 & 23. That’s a handy little net. I doubt pick 51 is that important to us.
Maybe we weighed all these options up and chose the path we took, but I really can’t help but get the feeling that while other clubs were getting deals done we were in the corner dancing with ourselves…
Outcome imminent. Stevo just tweeted Talia was $1.01 to be cleared. Too hard, grey area. Bloody hell.
Took a while to cover it all up. I wonder how they'll spin it.Outcome imminent. Stevo just tweeted Talia was $1.01 to be cleared. Too hard, grey area. Bloody hell.
Rotting in the NEAFL seems the likely outcome going by the BF Pundits
