Time for some house cleaning.

2) Enough with the personal attacks. It’s a long season and this one may go the distance, so if you want to remain a part of the discussion, do it respectfully.

We will use thread bans and infractions if necessary.

Prestia , lynch , taranto , hopper , nankervis all from the Northern feeder clubs the afl has set up so nicely to be pillaged by the big vic teams .

Who have we lost to Richmond ever ?
I am trying to go Way back when Richmond poached a best 22 play off freo in a trade?

I can only think off in 2004 when it was a 3 way trade of Richmond, freo and saints. Troy Simmonds going from dockers to tigers. Heath Black went from saints to dockers, Aaron Fiora went from richmond to saints.

Can someone explain the mentality of trying to "win" a debate by demanding the other person place a bet with you?

And then claiming you "won" when the other person (completely reasonably) refuses to gamble their money with a stranger online?

It's always baffled me.
Its simple

When somebody shoots off their mouth like its a 100% accurate and what they say is how it will be and a good example here is the constant " You dont know how trades work " comment

Then somebody like Me will turn around and say OK i will back my judgement on how trades work over yours and am happy to back my view with a financial or gift like token bet

Now either the other person actually believes and takes that up or is just talking sh!t and doesnt have the B ***s to back it up and disappears into the wind like so many here have

Or of course they all of a sudden become reformed gambles and no longer bet
But i have a solution to that also - We can donate $100 to the childrens hospital

Not quite.

Something else will be needed so together the deal equates to a late 1st.

Which isnt difficult. F3rd. Young fringe player.

Maybe a 3rd club gets involved.

It might be a bit harder to bump up the value of a trade like that as soon as this coming off season if the first round draft picks are going up in point value and the third rounders are losing value.

The final outcome might be very strange, at least until the new situation settles in.

I still feel we split our pick 3 for 2 1st rounders, trade one of them for pick 18,19 to Sydney and then use pick 18 on Baker, 19 on Busslinger and then keep our pick 8-10 to go into the draft where we decide we are happy with one of Christian Moreaes, Lalor or Hotton

Both are useless
We have enough 3rds & 4ths and fringe players

Go find another deal that gets to around #15
2nd & F2 and we can give you our 3rd back this year to pass onto somebody else

LOl thats just a silly narrow view to look at past history to judge the future
Richmond have taken players from other clubs and can from the eagles also

Prestia , Nankervis , Houli , Grigg , Lynch just in the last 10 years

With Richmond shedding the salary of the champs and will have a massive amount of cap space in the next decase
Richmond will go shopping and if we get burnt by teams im sure we will look very closely at their list and see if Richmond find 1 that suits our needs,

You would have to have your head in the sand if you think playing for a big melbourne club on the G wouldnt be appealing
Was your team appealing when your side made finals only twice between 1983-2012?

Was the demons appealing in 2012-13 when they had Mark Neeld as coach?

What about Carlton from 2002-2007? They play home games at the MCG too.

LOL Freo supporter having a laugh at Richmond

Richmond was always appealing even when Tony Lockett was a done deal until the AFL stepped in to 'Convince' plugger that sydney needed him. Nathan Brown , Kane Johnson , Butch Gale , Paul Broderick , Houli , Grigg etc all were convinced Richmond was appealing when we had not done anything in that period

Tigers are rebuilding and will use 3rd rounders at some point.

Or bundle them up to upgrade with a club needing more picks to draft with.

The change in points will devalue 3rds though.

Nothing personal against Richmond.

All this stuff about appealing about being a big MCG tenant.

An example Darren Jarman played for the hawks from 1991-95. He goes to the crows and plays for them from 1996-2001.

Richmond made finals in 1995. Why didn't Jarman join Richmond at the end of 1995?

Richmonds picks this year
2, 22, 29, 40, 41, 47, 58, 68, 72 before any trades for Baker , Rioli , Graham , McIntosh

We will only take 4 maybe 5 picks and have a full set next year

Dont need any picks this or next year past 25

Jarman played on the MCG & Flags enough times and went home to SA
Similar situation to Baker if he leaves his stomach was full

A Victorian boy dreaming about playing on the big stage is very different to Jarman and more similar to Cerra

I dunno....it always sounded like a coward's way to try to "win" an argument to me.

"Make a bet with a complete stranger online or ADMIT I'M RIGHT AND YOU'RE WRONG!"

Brad Hill Played 95 games and kicked 58 goals for the hawks between 2012-16. Won 3 flags at the hawks too.

He then got traded to the dockers from 2017 until 2019 to return back to WA and play alongside his brother Stephen.

He then gets traded to the saints. They are not a tenant at the MCG. Brad Hill is on his final year at $900,000 a year.

This myth was Every Victorian boy wants to play for Richmond and play at the MCG.

Geelong won a flag in 2022 at the MCG.

Patrick Dangerfield is from Moggs creek. How far is that from the MCG?
