Pinskier has finally declared his true colours, in a very sleazy and underhanded way. His recent email to Lions' members invites them to grant their proxy votes to "The Chairman of the Meeting OR Dr Henry Pinksier", with absolutely no indication on how the proxy votes will be directed.

While professing to support Leigh Matthews, giving proxies to an as yet unknown "Chairman of the Meeting" will almost certainly result in votes for the status quo, in opposition to Matthews and his board candidates.

This is a very crude attempt to garner the donkey vote, and I can only hope that it is blown apart by the media and the AFL. This whole situation stinks to high heaven, and one wonders just what the incumbents are so desperate to hide that they would stoop to these levels to hang on to power.

I suspected that there are investment interests at risk. Now I am starting to wonder whether politics itself is the main game. There was word recently that Andy is not far from stepping out of the AFL, with a career in politics a strong possibility. I wonder which party Andy is aligned with?

Yes. That's been the thing that has stood out for me too. It's not like scheming your way into the prime minister's office, where you have some powerful influence. It's hard to comprehend the level of co-ordinated smoke and mirrors going into maintaining what is essentially an unpaid 'glory' position.

The form is from the Club and is the same they will send out.

The only way the proxy is for the Chairman is for the box next to it to be ticked. Naturally none of Restore the Lions' Pride supporters will be ticking that box.

Your ignoring Lethal's express wishes to "walk" if Williams/Power aren't appointed, is beyond bizarre.

It is in the format required by the constitution - most likely so a vote doesn't get 'wasted' by someone garnering proxies and then not turning up.

Can I also suggest...

If you don't support Dr Henry, then UNFOLLOW him on Twitter and Facebook.

I can see a few people from here coming up as following him. You don't need to follow him to find out what he's saying.

The more apparent followers he has, the more his 'group' in size appears to be.

Its not as if he'll re-tweet or not delete if you say something negative about his cause, so you may as well NOT follow him so he can't use those numbers to his benefit.

Great work people, keep it up. I notice his numbers have gone down. Make sure you do this.

Leigh has categorically stated he won't be onboard if Williams/Power/Thornton/Smith fail.

So if you vote out all the current board, you're left with Sharpless and McGregor on the board at the end of the EGM and a quorum can't be reached.
