Rob Hazel from Ch 10 has just tweeted a pic of "the power base leading the coup against the current @brisbanelions board at next month's EGM."

Alastair Lynch is in there, and Tony Kelly as well.

Here is the pic:

I've got:

Seated - Thornton, Lethal, Williams, Power, Dr Smith (the Good Doctor, not that crap one we know)
Standing - ?, Lynchy, Tolliday, ?, Liddy, Poulter, Pearce, Kelly

(edited as we name the names)

The four at the back on the right are, I think, David Liddy (former director and I believe still MD of BOQ, the Lions' old sponsor), Len Poulter (former director and founder of Lenard's chicken), John Pearce (Former no.1 ticket holder), and Tony Kelly (former Chairman). I think that's right. I'm not sure about the others, apart from Alastair Lynch. I assume two of them are Allan Smith and Ross Thornton.

Absolutely love this photo - one thing I feel that is missing is a couple of Woman. This is an election and who knows what Linda whats her face being in support of the incumbent might have on our wonderful Female members. And of coarse - any good functioning board or team simply needs female representation, unless you are the federal government of Australia! other than that... BRING IT ON!!!!!!!!!

I was listening to 4BC and they crossed to Peter Psaltis at the press conference and he mentioned that Graham Downie was there also but looking at that picture it doesn't look like he is.

Yeh thats where I heard it, Greg Carey's comments ring true with us all, the current board should just step aside, it really is becoming a joke, maybe this gathering will show AJ and his mates that they have no chance.

What's everyones take on Alastair Lynch being present??
