They are the shitheads that broke me out of my political naivety as a young lad. I grew up believing in the rights of the average person, believing that a political party founded on the principle of giving the working class a voice would simply act with honesty & integrity.
I remember having an argument with a young Mike Kaiser in the Peel St ALP building. He was arguing the merits of introducing a GST. I was astounded. Then I watched as he and a young Mr Milner stacked the floor of the first day of a QLD young labor conference, the day all committee & individual position voting was done. They bussed in people from everywhere, who hung around to vote for the right nominated candidates, then we're never seen again. The second day of the conference bugger all of them showed up, so all the votes on policy went with the numbers the left had. If anyone cares to look it up (I don't even know if it's recorded or accessible), the floor forced a motion for the newly elected president to write a letter of solidarity to the Cuban young communist party. The look on his face was priceless. I also remember the casual disregard they showed in saying a girl trying to take the dais to debate abortion specifically related to rape may as well rip babies from the uterus & bash them with a baseball bat. When the girl broke down, two of them jumped on their seats & started mocking her. I went from believing in something to feeling disgusted to be associated within a matter of hours.
It was then I realised what a corrupt load of shit the political space was. It was then I tossed aside any affiliation I had and decided to simply examine individuals & their ideas on their own merits. Pinky is nothing more than one of the maggots that organised the busses & smiled at the poor fools silly enough to believe they were helping decent people achieve something worthwhile. He's one of the filthy dirt merchants that egg on the more provocative bullies & rides their coat tails.
As I said earlier, his ilk make me sick. Gutless cowards, simply in it for themselves, and completely bereft of any care for anyone or anything beyond themselves and their little clique. The fact these pieces of shit have their claws in my football club is infuriating. I can not wait to exercise my democratic right to jam my left boot so far up their arses they taste leather for a month.
After listening to Leigh on 4BC this afternoon it's clear that [user]Henry Pinskier[/user] has a plan that is DOA. He's wanting to anaesthetise the members and doctor the votes so that he can put the club into a medically induced coma.
He has already demonstrated his terrible bedside manner on this site (and Twitter/FB/his own page) and can only offer the Lions a prescription for pain.

What I got out of that 5aa interview with the great man:
1. He has genuine love for the club and feels an obligation to give something back
2. Knew when his time as coach was up and decided to step away gracefully- said the current Board should also know when their time was up and do the same.
(great analogy, in my view)
3. every football club needs an interface between the Board and the Football Department and it was that role that he was keen to step into.
It will be an absolute tragedy (did someone else say that?) if the Matthews/Power ticket doesn't get up. Everything points to them doing just that and by a comfortable margin. The only concern is that the campaign might get derailed by the dirty tricks, deflection and deception that have been on show in the last couple of weeks.

Pinskier's pain prescription will cause the Lions to end up in a medically induced coma. The only way to prevent this is to get a second opinion and vote against him. Get up off the operating table and ask him put away his ill-gotten patient list.
