I am a long suffering Freo supporter that just endured 6 full seasons of no finals.

If Freos current coach of Justin Longmuir has a similar finals record like port Adelaide under Ken Hinkley from 2013-21, I can complain

I disagree we are wasting him at half back. It has only been a short time but he has been more involved in the last 3 games down back in consecutive weeks, than anytime he has been playing forward or mid. Obviously we drafted him to be the type of player you mention but so far he hasn't shown he can do that. He's still young so he might be able to one day.

Rayner's been far more dangerous tonight playing forward of the ball. If he builds a tank to play mid he'll be a gun, at the moment he's a dangerous mid size forward who can take a mark, wasted as a distributor off half back.
