If Harry Sharp plays, him and Bruce Reville will improve our run substantially, both look super fit and run all day.

Im certain he didnt start back though. Pretty sure he started forward, it didnt work and then he went into the backline and actually started winning the ball there
Just in the extended benchHmnn. . .
The AFL match team lists both Reville and Morris as debuts.
Hasn’t been the right call since McStay left. We don’t have anyone capable to play the specific role he played right now.
I don’t know why we changed what worked so well for us during the finals series, to the point we lost a GF by 4 points. Having the 2 talls and then Cam as the hybrid third made us a far quicker and more dangerous team.
It blows my mind we are going back to this 3 tall set up again after that.
I think it isn't but maybe it works sometimes. If the coaches want three talls and don't think Smith and Morris aren't ready, then you can see why they'd stick with him to be fair.
The question should be: is three talls the right call?
I hope Lyons doesn't get a game as I don't want you to explode.Named extended bench >
[1] Kai Lohmann,[13] Logan Morris,[17] Jarryd Lyons,[22] Harry Sharp,[26] Conor McKenna,[32] Darcy Fort,[38] Bruce Reville,[43] Noah Answerth.
We know Bruce Reville is a certainty to play and I would add Conor McKenna and Noah Answerth as 99% certain to play.
Logan Morris wont play as his debut was not announced, Jarryd Lyons will not play(if he does I will explode).
So that leaves the last spot on the bench behind Reville/McKenna/Answerth between Lohmann, Sharp and Fort.
I'm hoping it is Sharp in and Lohmann as the sub.
Gunna take a lot for M.Malice's head to explode.
Maybe I should be looking forward to Lyons getting a game for the game day melts!!Gunna take a lot for M.Malice's head to explode.
I think it's safe for this week.
This is how i see the team after rearranging the named squad.
LIONS
B: B.Starcevich, J.Payne, R.Lester
HB: D.Wilmot, H.Andrews , C.McKenna
C: J.Fletcher, H.McCluggage, J.Berry
HF: C.Cameron, E.Hipwood, C.Rayner
F: L.McCarthy, J.Daniher, D. Gardiner
FOLL: O.McInerney, J.Dunkley, L.Neale
I/C: B.Reville (Mid/Fwd), D.Zorko (Fwd/Mid) N.Answerth (Def),H.Sharp (Wing relief).
Sub from: K Lohmann (likely), L Morris, D Fort, J Lyons.
Really don't think Kai as a sub makes much sense. We really don't need all of Answerth, Wilmot, McKenna and Zorko in the 22.
Playing Kai as the sub means we play Zorko forward despite his great form off half back. Doesn't add up to me.
Who rotates into the midfield? I think it'll be Zorko and Rayner unless we play Lyons
Surely we are all going "BRUUUUUUUUUCE" every time he gets it on Sunday night.Seems to be a bit more emphasis on playing your role for the team this week so hopefully that bodes well and it is all the Reville needs to do as well.
If he could spend an extended time in the Seniors I could see BReville becoming a Cult Hero very quickly.
Looks like Joe got his timing right this time
Are you saying Answerth gets dropped as the other 3 won't be.Really don't think Kai as a sub makes much sense. We really don't need all of Answerth, Wilmot, McKenna and Zorko in the 22.

Answerth has been one of the few players that has put in a good effort over the last month.
Could we go a little left field and...McKenna go forward?
We could but we won’t
The sky won't fall in if we debut two players.2 debutants probably a bit much in one match. Tell Morris/Smith to keep knocking on the door, target one of them getting a run in the next couple of weeks (maybe against the Tigers).
Though I 100% agree, it's well past time the Gardiner as a forward thing ended.
