Its refering to a local footy media personality who has a big mouth which generally has shit dribbling out of it! Anyone got any news on any of the coaching vacancys or if any clubs have picked up any new guns??

Would be very surprised if he coached again. Not doubting you TF but i heard the reason he didnt play out the year with Belmont was because of work commitments so with that in mind not sure he will have time. But in saying that he would be a great get as coach.

I just heard from a source that there was a meeting down at the grovey pub. No doubt grovey will talk to numerous people regarding the position and its not something they'll rush into. Haami would be a very good get as coach and id say it would just be as coach not as playing coach. 6000 at the grand final saturday, pretty poor for one of the strongest leagues in victoria. Is it anything to do with the location of the game the weather or what?

Those reasons plus Geelong was playing that night. A lot of people walking around Melbourne in blue and white colours Saturday afternoon... especially at the Casino ;)
 
Good to see the Roosters have been busy following some post-season disappointments. New coach Doug Scott has wasted little time and discussions are quite advanced with a ruckman from Melbourne and three on-ballers from interstate. Much work to be done to re-build on the field but they certainly are not sitting on their hands.

Think you will find that he will stay with belmont.Dont know who told you but i think he is telling you lies.

Like i said its just a rumour id heard. The person who told me is someone very close to you tho wiseoldman so maybe you could ask him and see if he was making it up or not?

He's mid 20's from what I understand and played at Thomson before Drysdale for a couple of years. Has only been playing footy four or five years and did the Dean Brogan switching from basketball. There are rumours at the moment linking him with a return to Thomson, although i highly doubt it

Well the phone call i got from a mate an hour before i posted suggest you may not have the knowledge. Wallace done a delivery to my mates job site this morning and told him he was meeting them next week.. Doesnt mean much at the moment as Grovey are speaking to every man and his dog about the coaching job.

I can categorically rule out him coaching anywhere next season in the GFL. Mark this post TF.

Also, as you are in the know at Grovedale, is it true that they have approached Barret/Graham to return? I have also heard Donahue will go to the highest bidder in the GFL or EDFL as Geelong get rid of him.
