fev, 3 touches.

lol

We broke the record for least inside 50's in a game.

3 touches is almost BOG considering.

Fen't get poor service today, he didn't get any.

Even then he still managed to outscore Yarran, Betts and O'Failpin's combined effort vs the Bulldogs.

Don;t drag Carlton into your woeful embarassing football club.

Tell me how is Rich going?

Pretty bloody good actually. If you'd watched us play more this year you'd agree.

Averaging more touches than last year playing a more inside role and getting heavily tagged.

Didn't have a great one against Hawthorn or Carlton but apart from that, to people who have a clue, he's still contributing while learning to shake a tag.

:thumbsu:

Sorry that mentioning Carlton got sand in your vagina, but the reality is that they are very comparable. Both sides have key deficiencies that look to prevent them from being premiership contenders in the foreseeable future.

Our deficiency is our midfield, yours is your forward line.

Both have injected youth into these departments, time will tell where they end up.

And little Eddie Betts alone has kicked more than Fev & Brown's combined effort 3 times this year. All kinda meaningless isn't it?

Can I ask you a question though ... if someone offered the Lions a top ten pick for Fevola at the end of the year, would you want them to take it?

good question... they will never admit it though... just watch.

tbd, i've been telling you your midfield is shit for ages. glad you've finally got the message.

Christ no. 3rd for the Coleman with deplorable midfield service.

If we can get things up and running again after a full pre-season, he'll be worth even more.

Plus I just put my signed Fev Sponsorship photo on the wall this week.

But looking at your trade scenario that would essentially mean Lachie Henderson and Pick 12 in a weak draft for Callum Bartlett, a few hundred G's of Carlton cash and Pick 10 in a draft where the Gold Coast has most of those early picks. Wouldn't be a terrible deal.

But yeah, will keep the Fev. :thumbsu:

i think a trade could work here.

how about A-Corn for mclean?

Haha.. no.

Rischitelli, Rockliff, Redden and Rich are infinitely superior inside mids than McLean.

If you can get us a pacy mid who can... use the ball well (i.e. not Murphy) and doesn't shirk the issue (i.e. not Gibbs)... hmm...

Now if you can swing a three way deal than gets us Adam Cooney or something... then we'll talk.

I can understand your interest in Cornelius though. A key forward that takes contested marks would be quite the novelty for you.

Nope!

I dunno about that. Fevola's trade value certainly hasn't grown any this year; surely even the most bias Lions fan would concede this. And a top ten draft pick for a 30yo with issues is not to be scoffed at, especially in a compromised draft.

EDIT: Well it appears you were right. Abandon all sense!

That would be either Lachie Henderson and Pick 12 in a weak draft, for Pick 27 in a weak draft or; Lachie Henderson and Kane Lucas for Callum Bartlett.

No need to tweak something so straight up is there TBD ... unless you're cognisant of the need to tweak that is.

a few hundred G's of Carlton cash

 I thought Carlton were paying that to Fevola. More tweak I see.

This effort from Brisbane was without doubt the most hilariously disastrous slopfest I've seen this season! I didn't think anyone could actually excrete a larger, more noticeable and more pungent pile of dung on the field against Hawthorn this year than we did back in Round 1, but clearly I was wrong...

Uh, you asked me (via the Fev trade hypothetical) to quantify the scenario from a Brisbane perspective, not a "who won out of Carlton and Brisbane" pissfest... I have no idea who Brisbane would have spent pick 12 on, so why would I say Lucas?

You instigated the line of inquiry, I am stunned that you lost track of it so quickly.

I have no idea who Brisbane would have spent pick 12 on, so why would I say Lucas? Could have taken someone better, or worse.

Brisbane are a great team. Their young superstars really stood up today, and their experienced players led their charge to victory against insurmountable odds!

Oh wait, they got rolled again. Too bad they don't play the PAFC again
