Definitely no point in dropping Darcy, he needs experience at the top level.
Won’t get anywhere playing in our VFL.
Same for JUH.
The more games they play together the quicker the force they’ll become.
I definitely still want Khamis in. Can play either end along with Darcy.

I hate to bring this back up.. But at what point do we swap Naughton and Bruce?
Naughtons goal kicking is a huge concern. It seems his right foot snap is his safest kick which is bizzare.
Bruce for all his faults down back, he looks fit and strong and has always been a fantastic set shot. He may get 2 or 3 less looks a game than Naughton, but he will convert more often than not.
I've always been in the keep Naughty forward camp. He obviously offers so much defensive pressure and ground ball work which we severely lack. Arthur can come in and hopefully help in that area.
But something pretty drastic needs to happen.
Dropping Jamarra?Get a feeling Bruce will be swung forward this week with a new look defensive unit downback, mix of Jones, Keath, Gardner. Forward line to be Naughton, Bruce and Darcy (if Lobb doesn't get up)
JUH is an out by his own admission, mental health leave.Dropping Jamarra?

I don't think that's a given - he's back at training.
I interpreted this as his stepping away for a period of time.Where have you seen this?

This is the week we can get away with Jones/Gards really, Gunston will kill Bruce and I just don't see it with Keath anymore and think Crozier is the best matchup for him as his leap will get him more spoil opportunitiesWith Gardiner back who goes out? I reckon Bruce has probably gone in front of Keath based on the last couple of weeks to be completely honest.
His kicking is a real worry but I think it’s being emphasised by how poor our ball movement is, Dale can barely hit a kick off half back at this stage. We’ve carried poor kicks in the back half before we just need to be smarter. Apart from that he’s actually been pretty good I feel, his marking has been a positive for us.
There’s also the option of just going Jones and Gardner too and going undersized which you could make a strong argument for.
I think Gardner is probably our best matchup for Gunston which leaves Hipwood & Danniher. Jones & Keath are probably the best two suited for them. This is the week we can get away with Jones/Gards really, Gunston will kill Bruce and I just don't see it with Keath anymore and think Crozier is the best matchup for him as his leap will get him more spoil opportunities
surely he has enough credits in the bank to remain in the team? he has been a great player for usDare I say it but if Macrae has another similarly poor performance on Thursday night, is his spot in jeopardy?
Dunkley has probably worded the Lions up on how to negate him. And others. Worked for Melbourne and the Saints via Hunter and Cordy.Dare I say it but if Macrae has another similarly poor performance on Thursday night, is his spot in jeopardy?
Definitely not but is he carrying an injury? He hasn't put in two singular games like this in 5 years, let alone two in a row. It's just uncharacteristic.Dare I say it but if Macrae has another similarly poor performance on Thursday night, is his spot in jeopardy?
His form has been very un-Macrae like, and was towards the end of last season too. Would be interested to know if he's carrying something or has just hit a bit of a wall, or is perhaps being forced to play a different role?surely he has enough credits in the bank to remain in the team? he has been a great player for us
