Your view Rachelle and Taylor have flown past Pedlar, is rubbish ......not sure you can claim Taylor has, given Pedlar played 2 games in year 1 ....and Taylor 0

Rachelle had maybe 2-3 good games .....but many of his other 10 were simply ave - below ave games

This is simply another Fogarty pile on ....same posters
It’s not a pile on and absolute bullshit same posters. You shouldn’t need to make stuff up to try and win an imaginary argument.

Eventually there becomes a point though that they need to be developing and establishing themselves otherwise you’d never turn over your list.

So how long you giving Pedlar?
Need to judge him after he get himself AFL fit, if he can't then there's no point arguing who is right but if he can and still doesn't show any improvement then he is a bust. However, I've seen enough glimpse in the 1st half at SANFL and early in the 1st quarter at AFL that he can make it if he can get himself AFL fit.

Again, the Club will persevere with elite talent, longer than less talented "role players" ......Pedlar would get at least 4 years .....so that's 2 more years

Apart from talent, it comes back to a player's desire to improve / work hard .....I don't see any sign of hard nut players, like Pedlar, Berry, Selwood, not working hard, it's in their personality make-up & how they play .....you can question, pace, touch, disposal ect.....that's not an issue with Pedlar

Ask me about the more "skilled" and the less "competitive natured" players .....Jayden Stephenson, Lukosious, Sholl, and the more outside orientated players ....you cannot be as definitive

Mitchito Owens has had a great 1st year ..why? ...because he's 100% competitive on the field & Coaches love that type of player

What is this blokes story ?
Big summer to get right.. top 10 pick 2yrs ago.
Has never looked fit.. is he another one that doesn't have the grit to work.
It's not like he's had devastating injuries to the point he can't train.

Is he even any good?

Hasn't got his body right yet but has looked really good in patches in the SANFL.

If he can get a full pre season in, I would expect him to get AFL games next year.

Go watch the last two sanfl games where he has been fit. There is a real burst and presence about him that puts him above sanfl.

but he isn’t getting much midfield time at sanfl level which is a worry. Another midfield we park in the forward line

Can't stay healthy for long periods of time, but on the other side, he's the closest thing we've had to Dangerfield in terms of being able to turn a match on its head in a 5-10 minute patch.

Needs to get his body right and a bit of luck.

I thought Pedlar was pretty good in the SANFL yesterday. Obviously taken a little bit to come on but I think he's far from a bust at this point.

That he's managed to gain almost no AFL experience in his first three seasons is a pretty significant cause for concern.

Two years, 2020 draftee. Still, it's been a frustrating start.

He seems like a Beau Waters clone.
Erratic left footer that flies at anything and everything.
Recklessly throws his body around with scant regard for his safety or anyone else in his path.

Seems to be one of those players that when it clicks he doesn't get dropped

Another Preseason, hopefully the Burgess factor has influence.

Talent is there.

I'm watching all the SANFL match's now .....Pedlar just does things that are "special" and team lifting .....the perfect Finals player

Just get his tank up .....I agree though, once he's in the team, he ain't going out

Agree. Either the odd burst out of a stoppage, a full speed attack at a contest or a clean dish out from under a pack. There’s something there.

And at 184cm he has reasonable size for a mid compared to the others we have. Not massive, but a good average midfielder height - not a midget.

Let's not sugar-coat it this kid is yet another 1st round draft pick bust for Ogilvie. You wonder how he keeps his job and then you remember this is the AFC.
I’ve been critical and pessimistic about Pedlar, but he had some great moments yesterday. A couple of great F50 entries.

Definitely needs to work on his fitness but seems to be moving much better.

Keays 186
Berry 182
Schoenberg 183
Sloane 183

They're all pretty much the same height aren’t they?
