Mate, no doubting the history. I actually don't have that much of a problem with either team regardless of rivalry (in everton/liverpools case).

I genuinely feel for both sets of supporters with the current situations. Both teams underachieved despite big hopes. Provided they don't beat my teams I actually wish them well.

Liverpool are a victim of their own history. Still one of the best clubs in the world and on the right track but expectations must be lowered due to the spending power of the Spanish two, the Manchester clubs, PSG and Chelsea.
We can beat the top teams but not Burnley, Bournemouth, Swansea and Hull
We are good to watch when we play like we did against the Spuds.

Tend to agree, although the Reds have swung and missed with a few big money transfers. That said I think the Brendon Rodgers era put you guys on the back foot.

I am an Aussie fan and chose Everton in the mid 90s because a) I wanted to be different and also because I liked Duncan Ferguson.

I don't really get into rivalries in sports. Apart from Sweet FA rivalries.

I was thinking today about what names BigFooty posters would go by if this was a mexican site.

I came up with Francisco Slatta for Frankston Rover which leads me to two questions

a) Does that create a link between the town of Frankston and San Fransisco with the name Frankston coming from Frank's Town and San Francisco being named after Saint Francis, could it be the same bloke the towns were named after?

b)Do you have any latin pet names for any other Sweet FAers?
