This is a neverending circle.

People bag teamX fans cos they are on the up, so teamX fans enjoy their view from the top and run it in while they can but never forget how those below treated them so when tables turn teamX fans seek their revenge, meanwhile teamY who has just ascended remember how pompous teamX were when on top, are now feeling the wrath of every other team's fans and instead decide that they may as well enjoy their time in the sun and oh my god we are now in a cycle you can't break.

Lesson of the story: Clubs at the bottom need to act better and stop hating a team because they are currently on top.

Moral of the story: hate breeds hate.
