At what point will you pro covid vaccine people begin to question things? Ask this to yourself. Will you question it if you need a top up every year? every 6 months? a booster every 2 months? Seriously. I just shake my head at the insanity.
Israel is the highest vaccinated country in the world and have more cases. They are now going to be having a 4th shot.
If you are so worried about contracting a virus that kills a tiny minuscule of people who don't have co-morbidities then why don't you wrap yourself in a bubble and never come out of your house. Why don't you get 25 vaccines so you don't have to worry about contracting the virus from the un-vaxxed?
The only thing happening here is the great reset as they know the economy is f'ed and they need someone to blame it on.

My mate works in biomed and he expects covid to be just like the flu, have to live with it and a new shot will come out every year.

COVID Hypocrisy No. 649:

I'm outraged by Lockdowns because of those poor, battling casual workers. It's just not fair for them.

I supported the Liberals in cutting Penalty Rates.

It has been interesting watching people who previously couldn’t give a toss about casual workers or mental health, suddenly care very much about casual workers and mental health.

Almost like it’s a convenient vehicle to hammer their message that restrictions inconvenience them more than other people dying would.

The hypocrisy and sheer abandonment of the Liberal party belief sets is quite astounding really. This party founded on individual rights and freedom of choice now lead by compromised and short-sighted failures like Sco Mo and Gladys. Absolutely disgusting how all their beliefs and principles have gone out the window and turned into nothing more than falsities whilst they get directed by short-sighted puppeteers pulling their strings. What the hell does the Liberal party actually stand for anymore, nothing?
I note the Young Liberals have come out and stated they are against mandatory vaccination:

The issue has become a flashpoint for some other conservative Liberals, including Mulgoa MP Tanya Davies who sent an email to all her fellow coalition MPs saying the government had “failed in their jobs as leaders”.

Ms Davies told the Liberal Party room earlier in the week she would introduce a bill to ban companies from mandating their employees to get jabbed, but received almost no support and was blasted by the Deputy Premier for taking a position that was “dangerous, irresponsible and threatens lives”.

Ms Davies applauded the Young Liberals for approving the motion, which passed 123 against 58.

“It's great to see the younger Liberals fighting for this,” she said.

“They could teach some of the Liberal MPs a thing or two.”

A Young Liberal source said many in the youth wing felt the party’s MPs are “stuck in ivory towers” and don’t know what’s “happening on the ground”.

“Young Libs are crying out for the government to reconsider the policy,” the person said.

“It goes against the Liberal Party mantra of individual freedom.”

LIBERAL PARTY BELIEFS FROM THEIR OWN CORE BELIEF STATEMENT:

"In the inalienable rights and freedoms of all peoples; and we work towards a lean government that minimises interference in our daily lives; and maximises individual and private sector initiative

In government that nurtures and encourages its citizens through incentive, rather than putting limits on people through the punishing disincentives"

Once again I personally am pro vaccination that actually provides immunity, I am anti mandatory vaccination and Passport/ID Cards. Not that the Australian public is capable of standing up anymore but I still believe being genuine in the beliefs you claim and having some integrity is important. Every single Liberal party member should be similar if they have any integrity.

How anyone advocates for discrimination and segregation is beyond me. Classic "me-first" mentality on display.

I’m pro vaccination, anti mandatory vaccination

I'm sure both of you are very glad to know that vaccination rates are still going strong, and there's been no evident 'vaccine hesitancy' despite some of the misinformation going around :thumbsu:

I kind of agree. But on that nasisI would have a right to sack any staff if they are not vaccinated (if my view is I want all my employees vaccinated) and I could refuse service/entry to my business to customers

I have a different take on the employer thing personally. It's one thing for an employer to say there are things you can and cannot do at work whilst knowing what you do in your own time is not their business. Insisting you inject a substance into your body that you can never remove, in their employ or not, at work or not, forever till you die, is something else entirely.
I think it is a very different distinction and people who use this line haven't actually worked it through.

How dare you impose mandatory vaccines in the workplace! I'm a Liberal and this goes against our beliefs!

I hate unions.

Just wait until someone accepts a WorkCover claim against an employer for allowing unvaccinated people in to a workplace if they can prove they caught it there.

Interesting thought.
It's like the public simply cannot grasp the scientific fact these new vaccines DO NOT STOP SPREADING. The person you refer to will most likely get infected from someone VACCINATED.

It's considered to reduce spread.

But also, WorkCover accepts all manner of spurious claims that force employers / workplaces to do stuff. I can fully see this happening at some point.

The irony will be, someone who hasn't been vaccinated thanks to a very loose 'medical exemption' and just so happens to be anti-vaccine, will be the one making the claim.

I really don't think such would get anywhere in reality.

I was talking to a HR lawyer the other day who said some stuff was coming up off the back of flu shots, they suspect it'll happen with COVID vaccinations.
Either way, there's going to be some employment generated for lawyers and god knows they need the money:rolleyes:
PS: If you're in the legal game yourself, apologies:sick:

All the forced jabbers must be glad to know they are lock-marching side by side with the banks.

Well I had a not mandated, but coerced shall we say flu shot as requested by my employer years ago and had an anaphylactic response that nearly killed me, maybe I should have gone to court. Interestingly enough that employer was talking at management level of trying to make it a requirement of employ. After my episode and the unions jumping on it, that idea was hastily consigned to the scrap heap.
