100% agree with this - still the top seed for mine. Has a similar feel to way Estijaab ran in the Riesling before winning the Slipper in that went around at a short quote and had the right platform next start. Important to remember the recent history of leaders/on pace runners in the Slipper too.

Bruce mentioned just before the race that the Todman has a history of favourites being beaten but who come out 2 weeks later and winning the Slipper

Yeah, use to be some good meets even in WA now we are shafted with a York, narrogin or Esperance meet where three quarters of the card is no bet races. Good Friday is ok but even then they've weakened that card significantly in the years its been active.

Don’t think will Tralee lose, but the odds are just way too short to launch in a 3200 meter race where anything can happen.

Starcaster is flying since Kah has hopped on and Long Arm gets 3 kgs on it and looked like it was going just as good if not better than Tralee at the end of the race

It is a year to back something at 30/1 - from memory only Four Moves Ahead and Artorious have won both of their latest two starts out of everything that will line up.

Find something at big odds trained in Sydney that will settle up on the pace and you will probably get a good run for your money.

Just noticed Racing Victoria doesnt even bother putting on a decent Metro meeting on a public holiday anymore. Instead we get 4 horse jumps races at Warrnambool. I cant even be bothered with the garbage we have to bet on. I feel sorry for Adelaide for not getting any support whatsover from the other states
