Not sure he'd stay for that pay packet. Unless the pay isn't tied to the position he uses up on the list.
He was already signed next year so another 2 years is ok. Thought we would have had to offer another 4 years instead of 2 to outbid Collingwood.

Murray would make a better forward. Would like to see him in the forward line with Fog and Thilthorpe. Better than overspending on Petty. Then we just need to bring in another kpd for depth.
Happy to have him signed on. Offers something a bit different to the other KPD. His kicking is always risky, but he seems to pull it off most of the time. When he does, it opens up scoring opportunities.
a significant amount of depth in our big defenders then. Maybe they are not sure about Butts successfully coming back from his foot injury
Well Worrell did play forward in the champs during his draft year, we've just never tried him there:
"At the 2019 under-18 championships, Josh Worrell was Vic Metro’s leading goalkicker with hauls of four against Western Australia and three against South Australia."

Either way hes a Rookie and cant stay as a rookie past next season so will have to be upgraded to the senior list

ps I still dont think we get rid of Borlase, Gollant AND Berg. One to stay - probably and hopefully Berg

Really pleased about this. Keane does have pace and agility and I do agree that he is developing rapidly. Worrell also has some similar traits, although they are far from clones. Our back line is very quickly becoming a strength with plenty of rebound.

Their intelligence just reflects the demographics of who listens and who is on the actual show,
I tend to think of it as Murray, Worrell, and one of Butts or Keane depending on who is fit and in better form. Worrell is too valuable to our defence for me to want to throw him forward just so everybody gets a game.

ok fair call re Nick. I had just read he had played forward as a Jnr but wasnt aware of how much. That said, with his high leaping and pack crashing abilities I wouldnt mind him being tried as a swingman

Absolutely, also the way Keane reads the ball can be a very capable mark up forward.
The deal gives us great flexibility .
