This ‘seek the contest’ rhetoric sucks balls. How about ‘seek the smart option’ instead. Damn we play dumb football. Taking the ball at the wrong time. No clever taps to outside players, (not talking about ruck taps), handballs to players already covered or surrounded by the opposition.The same panic kicks out of defence...and kicking to the opposition is the only honed skill we have.
