I understood our coach said we were going to play faster tonight.

He did......... Then said they may or may not carry that idea into the regular season.

That amazed me, but if that quarter is anything to go by, we just aren't able to do it.

We don't seem to have the confidence, or skill in hitting targets, to execute a fast, play on style.

Our slow, hesitant movement looks eerily similar to last year, but it is a very, very, very small sample size.

So no judgement here as yet.

Cat's played that quarter with typical preseason intensity. Just being reactive than proactive.

They took the kicks - so id say there were confident - but lacked the skill for sure as the missed a good number.

How soon some forget the shitshow of last year, eh? I don't give a rats bum if Scarlett and Enright back Chris Scott. I will always respect those two as former players, but the jury is out on whether they're decent assistant coaches IMO. As my old mum used to say, "The proof of the pudding is in the eating," and so far, we were led to believe we're getting caviar when it turned out to be a shit sandwich.
