He'll get a proper turn soon, hopefully!!! , because he sure deserves it after his pre-season, but trying to break into the team at the moment does seem hard.
Fingers crossed for next week!!!

Im takin applications for apologies now.

Good game today, but no apology yet. He's still not up to top 10 b&F form IMO and was playing a little loose thus got a lot of possessions - a little like a second Chad Fletcher. My question mark remains, will he still get plenty of it when he's got someone following him all game? If he can, I'll eat my words.

Didn't exactly set the world on fire today.
He's still new at the game and , like many second year players, probably won't set the world on fire every week. I think that Rosa has played pretty well so far this season. Needs to learn how to stick his tackles however. He can get into position to tackle opponents but he doesn't always seem to hold onto them well enough.

Do I get my apology yet

What? I seriously thought that the Melbourne game proved my point that Rosa is too weak for AFL better than any game thus far.

You'll get your apology when Rosa finishes top 10 in the Best and Fairest. Now run along and make things up junior, I'm not in the mood for arguing with idiots.

I must have been watching a different game, Thought he went alright, kept Travis Johnstone quite and put his body in when he had too.Gutsy mark with Pickett bearing down as well.

Yeah, he plays well and you can tell he'll be a good player but at times he was pushed off the ball too easily and he made some mistakes which are expected from a young player...Not touching a Wirra kick and letting it sail out of bounds on the full comes to mind. Either way, I'm not convinced he's the next Judd or Cousins.

some of you guys are pretty harsh on rosa, hes only played 11 games. hes gonna be a gun player for us. just adds to the versatility of our team. now embley can spend more time forward

Maybe I overshot the mark a little bit but I wasnt far off really

15 out of 26 games

Averaged 17 possessions 2 tackles 6 marks a game.

Racked up 23 possessions in the Elimination final versus Bulldogs.

A Rising star nomination

A good year all round id say

Yeah he had a good year on the back of a massive effort in the pre season.

I think from his dedication, determination and what he showed last year he will become a very handy player in the future for us.

Still questions marks about his decision making though, hopefully another big pre season can see him playing all 22 games next year and improve further.

Premature ejaculations aside pretty good call Embers :thumbsu:

Tell mum to save me a plate :D

Rosa should be in the gym already to bulk up as much as possible over summer.

Once he puts on a few kg's he will be even more promising :thumbsu:
