Writeup from The West.

No mention of it in the article but Burgiel is pictured in the background, so looks like he's training for his spot back on the list.
Have seen a group of the young boys training for the past few weeks and Burgiel has been there with them training his arse off, following Ginbey and Hall around which is smart. Looks like he doing everything he can to impress and get back on the list. Maybe it will be the kick up the arse he needs, as he definitely has talent.

If it ever gets proven that training kits have an impact on training performance then I’ll start caring what they look like

Until then I’ll continue to not give a shit what they train in

Well actually, there was a 2021 study into exactly just that which proved that training kit did have a psychological impact on the performance of elite sports people.

I dont think we've ever had a player that makes me irritated simply looking at as much as Clay Hall. Looks like Oscar Allen had a kid with Chad Fletcher.

From that gallery

Good to see Cal Jamieson out on the track for day one of preseason

Ginbey must just have to look at a protein bar to put on muscle

JWill looking buff. Big season for him - could be one of our breakout players in 2025

Jamo actually looking really good there. Got that TB chest on him. Hopefully he can stay on the park. I though his few blocks of games looked really promising

A fair effort given he doesn't do any leg work and has that yuge upper body to drag around the track.
I was at a birthday party for a mate at Claremont FC last week and all of the young players were there. They are a very tight group.
As for Reuben's "leg work", I can assure you that when he was leading several others in the "Nutbush" being sung by Darren Reid, his legs were getting a far better work out than any pre season training session.

Good to see Chesser mentioned early in that article as having trained well

Long and Brockman training away from the main group is not totally surprising given they both had surgeries.

Hough also on managed minutes so there must have been something to that knee injury against Geelong. McQualter saying that it was part of his training plan and expected him to be training fully over the next few weeks- didn’t seem concerned

Baker expected to play back half initially

Harley cramped up in the 3rd quarter

It’s the hair and forehead. Still a relatively consistent hairline but hanging on for dear life. Needs to get rid of it all and he’d look 10x better

Only day one but this is good

Also, pale as buggery

Needs to spend more of his offseason in WA working on his tan

I think we can just about lock it in that Burgiel will be rookie listed either in the draft or as a SSP

Reports re Hewett are encouraging
My guess is young Harley has been focusing heavily on indoor activities, after spending a couple of months catching up with his girlfriend.
