Lol. Which part? Maguire? You think he would do worse than the shitshow we currently have? You have no ****ing idea. This is the most insane football take I've ever seen
The report I saw was 2024He comes out of contract at then end of 2026.
It'd easily be one of the most prestigious board positions in Adelaide, and the connections, ego, prestige and networking it delivered would be hugely valuable.
Worldly view? WTF Jenny. These board members live in Adelaide, therefore it’s a position in Adelaide with some perks and prestige.
Seriously man that is not comparing apples with apples. Or prestige with real prestige. The US with 12x the population for a relatively similar land mass (exc Alaska) has a massive amount of mid sized cities commutable to the “name” cities.People act like Adelaide is a small town. In comparison to Melbourne and Sydney maybe but Adelaide would be the 7th biggest city in the USA. It is not small. Adelaide has a bigger population than Dallas, Seattle, San Francisco, Boston. So time to get out of this small town mentality. Adelaide is fast becoming the best city in Australia. Anyone acting like Adelaide is some sort of country town is mistaken.
Absolutely correct. Someone gets itThose cities are much bigger than Adelaide when you take into account their metropolitan areas.
Massachusetts of which Boston (population 4.367m), which is a much smaller state in geographical size, has a state population of nearly 7 million.
Dallas (population inc metro area 6.665m) in Texas which has a state population of 29 million . San Francisco (population 4.6m) is in California with a state population of 39.5m. Seattle (population 4.03m) is in Washington State with a state population of 7.6m.
Adelaide has a population of approx 1.379m, including metro area, in a state with a population of approx 1.881m.
South Australia is the equivalent of Nebraska (1.94m) and West Virginia (1.792m) - the 37th and 38th States of the Union.
Just be wary of how they use populations in USA as they normally only count the city centre and its city limits and not the metro areas.
Queenslander has “worldly view”. Have you ever come across a more backward thinking population than Queensland? It’s like going back to the 50s as soon as you cross the border. And FFS don’t mention daylight savings, they struggle to wrap their heads around the simplicity of it all.
As a Liverpool man, the resemblance to Nicks concerns me
So has Fagan suddenly become a bad coach, after almost snatching the 2023 GF
Same players .....PS Flag favourites with bookies .....7 games later, season over
Player attitudes have an enormous bearing ......and we're talking a very mature group, not a young group like the Crows

Having lived and travelled extensively (well over half US states) in Nth America, comparing Adelaide to these cities is fundamentally flawed. For example, approx one hour travel time (non peak) from San Fran and you have Oakland (14km with 400k), San Jose (70km with circa 1m), Fremont (230k) with other decent sized cities not much further away like Sacramento (400-500k) etc. Adelaide GDP would be lucky to be 10% of the wider San Fran economy. And Dallas-Fort Worth (35-40 min drive) has a population of around 7m with the airport catering to 1,800 flights per day.
No way is Adelaide comparable to a number of these economic behemoths unless Murray Bridge, Maslins Beach, Gawler and Humbug scrub have stacked on the population since my last visit.

Interesting he’s calling Brisbanes season over at 2-5 and is making no comment on the Crows season being over before it started under Nicks and in a year Wayne said no excuse not to make finals, now it’s cricketsYou are the coaching guru after all!
I’ve seen happy clappers on socials defend our start comparing it to Brisbane and Collingwood.Wouldn’t be the first time the runner up has a bad year…..and when you’re consistently up you’re going to have a bad year eventually.
Can you say either of those apply to Nicks and the Crows?
Did Fagan change their game plan?
The lengths you’ll go to do defend your embarrassing opinion is quite amusing
The ones comparing us to Richmond in 2016 and Geelong circa 2006 are the funniest.I’ve seen happy clappers on socials defend our start comparing it to Brisbane and Collingwood.
Like it’s even remotely the same thing.

Brisbane coming off just missing the premiership, us coming off just missing the finals.I’ve seen happy clappers on socials defend our start comparing it to Brisbane and Collingwood.
