Then when there is no turnover says NRL punters don't like Betfair - easy play
Could also be using as a play against AFL. NRL doesn’t seem to have the negative connotation with gambling that AFL has (ignoring League & social clubs). If AFL goes with a lower rate it has to deal with the supposed criticism of being dependent on gambling dollars

Maybe but unlikely. Pete has a few agendas:

- All about the dollar, if there's coin to be made he will take it
- Thinks a punters average IQ is 45
- In bed with Tab through RNSW. BF is the arch enemy so anything he can to kick them in the guts

That was a special ride by Abe in the 2nd at Cairns on the $2.80 second fave in a 5 horse field. The first 3 cleared out 8 lengths from the rest until the turn. The fave managed to be stuck 3 wide the trip around the other two.

If i had a good 4yo why wouldn't you target the Eagle?

Everest nil hope

Everest was only brought up by interviewer. Bit of extra mayo to say he's targeting it.

Peters was asked if he had a potential horse for the Everest he said (paraphrasing): no. In fact I had a phone call this week from a slot owner and said I don't really have one maybe keep eye on these 3 (undisclosed horses) they might get there in time if they keep improving.

Superstorm was barely spoken about was more just confirmation that RP and AQ will go to CP and Golden Eagle was a general target for SS and even that was thrown on him by interviewers.

Agreed though hard to not target him for the Golden Eagle. Personally I'd like to see him stay in WA, he's probably better suited to the mile into a WFA KT 1800m.
