McCarthy, shulz, bennel, Jetta or carslile? Who is our priority?

McCarthy and GWS's first for Z. Clarke and our first, if Clarke is looked after. McCarthy has had half a season of good football. He wants to come home. He may have compassionate reasons to come home.
GWS relies on Mumford, who is a walking injury factory. They may believe they need Clarke in their squad. Clarke will need to be convinced.

Clarke has to want to go though

Ok as a GWS member I know exactly what they want. The want a ruckman, they want an experienced backman and they want an experienced player (of any position) to aid the young kids on the ground

We can't help with the defender, but we may have to offer something we don't want To. Treloar is gone and GWS will have an eye on a mid. Both parties will have to win here

Mcarthy was in Coleman contention first half of the year, when he dropped off coincided with rumours over here that he was unhappy and that could be the reason

McCarthy! Just brilliant. Surely giving up our first rounder would be a no brainer if it's enough to get the deal done. It's awesome right now given the opportunity before us this year but snaring McCarthy would be a critical step towards setting up our next generation.

Silvagni or Clarke + our 1st?

Would be unfair on Silv but if Zac somehow recaptures his early season form in the finals then there is no way he'll go

Freo have been in his ear continuously apparently and are dangling big money in front of him.

I can't believe this, stuff like this hasn't happened to us in a long time! We may (if a deal can get done) have a young key position player for the future.

In saying that he is 193cm. Is that big enough for the size of key forwards today?

We shouldn't have to give up too much considering he wants to come home. If he nominates Freo we are sweet.

I wouldnt be throwing Clarkes name up just yet

Our other guys have the height. He gives forward class which is something we need among our tall forwards
