McLean leaves Demons

I don't need to mention a source.

This is a good thing for MFC

He is slow, injury prone and not skillful enough

4 picks in the top 20 is a fantastic result for the club, we can cover all gaps we have in our list

If it was Demonland, thats hardly a source as i read that post too. Any other scoops?

Rubbish. If we draft Scully and Trengove with 1 & 2, we are assured of potentially covering our deficiency within the midfield. But picks 11 and 18 are no guarantees of addressing our kpf and ruck deficiencies.

In a compromised draft, picks 11-20 could be hit or miss.

If we traded pick 11 for an established top-line ruckman or key forward, I would be happy with the trade. But somehow I doubt that anyone half decent would come to the MFC.

Mclean -> Carlton
Pick 11 -> Melb

Then Pick 11 given to Essendon in return for Lovett.

Then Essendon use picks 10 + 11 to get Burgoyne??

I can't believe this has happened.

Brock's been one of my favourite players since he was drafted.

****!

I hate Carlton.

I really hate Carlton.

I ****ing love McLean!

****!

Draft pick #11. ****!

Carlton will win the premiership next year.

Can't believe it.

Ill second that. Scumbags

Where did number 4 come from. Do Demons fans actually think pick 11 is fair given the weakness of the draft. Pick 11 will probably net ya a Gary Rohan or Lewis Jetta. Neither id prefer to McLean.

I think when its all said and done McLean will be a pie for Nathan Brown and a decent pick

idiot. its not a weak draft, it just doesnt have much depth. pick number 11 this year will the same as any year

Wow. Didn't see that one coming. Having had similar with Gibbo I know what a shock it can be, especially given I thought McLean was more of a stuck on Demon than Gibbo a Rooyboy if you know what i mean.

You have to wonder how Carlton can be fitting all these blokes in their cap.

McLean gets a gig sponsoring Visy's new burnout recycling machine or something, then jeez, its all a joke.

Thanks for the sentiment mate... yeah, he comes off looking like a grub in this whole affair at the moment...

It's my understanding that Brock was asked to take a significant pay-cut at MFC. Read that as the club saying you can stay if you like, but if you'd like to go, we'll be happy to trade you to the club of your choice for the right price.

Any one who has watched Brock closely in 2008 and 2009 will know that he is now terribly slow, has trouble breaking a tag and he has no penetration with his kicking. It's sad to lose him, but I think it's a win for the club.

Just read on Demonland that Davey might want out too. If that happens i am deflecting to the round ball game.
If the club wants to relegate itself to the bottom for the next 5 years, they can shove my membership and any future debt demolition payments up their a#se.

The only sobering news I got from the Demonland mole's post was that Bailey will be gone in 2 years.
