How many of your employers sent you on similar camps? What would be your reaction? It’s very easy to pot when you are doing it from the safety of your lounge room.
Right now none us should draw any conclusions as we dont know what actually happened.

I watched the On the Couch and the guy who broke the news lost my respect a bit. He also went on to say that Douglas was challenging his report. The guy mentioned concussion so there was no way that Douglas would get off. What he didn't was that the concussion was caused by whiplash and not a direct hit to the head. So again the media telling us part of the story.

During my working life I attended many conferences and during those conferences we were always confronted with team building experiments that would take you out of your comfort zone. I remember one that from a womens point of view wouldn't have been pleasant as we had to search each other whilst we were blindfolded. There was a lot of boob grabbing going on. Other challenges were similar to some of the things that you see in "Iam a Celeb get me out of here". There all sorts of things we had to do. Jumping from a plane. I didnt want to do it I was shit scared but for the team I felt O had too. Once it was over I have to admit I felt exhilerated and importantly part of the team.

Of course back then you didnt dare complain for fear of losing your job.

I've done via Corporate Sessions:
1. 24 hours cult seminar without sleep
2. Firewalking
3. Ab sailing 100 mtr cliffs
4. Thompson River level 3 Rapids
5. 2 am Paintball skirmish between opposing teams, under dim moonlight conditions

Were these pleasant ? .....hell no ....did they teach me anything about myself ...hell yeah

Like wise. I mentioned being forced to parachute and bungi jump among other things. Have to admit I didnt do fire walking though

Port flogs trying to stick the boot in on us on the Main Board because we’re saying the players shouldn’t complain about the camp.

So Crows ‘choke’ or prove themselves to be mentally fragile on GF day and get called out by opposition fans....Crows coaches decide to try and use a camp that focuses on putting players into mentally uncomfortable situations to get them to perform while under duress and then Crows posters get called out for saying that the players should harden up.

Hmmmm

What we know is that losing a grand final is apparently as bad as finishing last, winning games will help, but the media will cling to the "but what about the big games" thing.

Basically everything different, or wrong, will be magnified.

Who knows what happened here, we probably wont find out what was real and rumors will grow and grow, if we win it this year the club will be geniuses, if not we've got something else to blame.

Looking at Eddie Betts and Sauce jumping around at the basketball celebrating leads me to think it's unlikely anybody is at home curled up in a corner struggling to get over the trauma.

I can believe that in 2018 some of the players were expecting to sit around the hotel pool, check out the theme parks, do a couple of training sessions at a park and then recover on the beach.

Ha ha what a beat up crock of shit.

Just because Crows gave the flag to the second shittest club in the comp, the Vic media is furious because they can’t make the usual Richmond jokes for this year. Turns out they’ve decided to turn and attack AFC instead. They can all GAGF. Those self-proclaimed demigods can SMD.

Our biggest weakness is mental. We are a skillful.side with a good coaching method and development.

But at times our "collective mind" does wonder.

I am happy this has been identified.

I personally think at three quarter.time our guys thought the game was over and thought we could just casually run the game out. Dougie casually rolls the ball towards goal and misses was a sign of this. The look in Tex's face in the box said a lot after that.

This story is a bit if a beat up. But I am happy our biggest weakness has been identified and worked on.
