As I think jenny61_99 said, the main positive I see is that finally we detected mental weakness when things go against us is a problem and are trying to do something about it.

So what your partner thinks about where you work is irrelevant too?
I don't know what happened at t he camp but if we win a grand final next year it will be due to many and various factors. In fact it may be in spite of the camp and not due to it. I would suggest that it would be virtually impossible to apply a hard, objective analysis due to so many factors, many of them subjective, hidden and therefore beyond scrutiny.

Another reason why I think player’s need to harden up. In what other industries would it be acceptable or tolerated for a partner of an employee have a public whinge about a company?

Mentioned this on another thread but no one picked up on it. Yes it seems it was Eddie and it looks like a big reason he was peeved was that they took away his phone which he didn’t like because. his partner was pregnant at the time.
Ok I can understand that and the club probably should’ve excuse him from the camp but then again it’s not like she doesn’t have other people to step in if an unlikely emergence situation arised.
But surely there are better ways to have dealt with this than for Eddie and her to have had a big whinge and undermine the club and Tex. There are no excuses for this behaviour. Did he go to the club first and get told to harden up which led to this public whinge or did he say nothing to the club and take out his frustrations in the media?
Can’t help but feel that Eddie and his partner have been drama queens over this. A million different and better ways to have handled this.

It's funny that we're happy to cane the media for reporting inflammatory stories based on conjecture, then we're perfectly happy to concoct a narrative and pass judgments on the same conjecture. Can we please drop this subject now?

Not playing detective, commenting on an actual newspaper story that basically says who it was. May as well close the thread if we can't do that.
Speculating on the reasons and how/what was said would be going too far as we don't have any idea of what was going on with either of them at the time.
And even if that were the case this thread has already attempted to out 4 other players and/or wags based on the BF Adelaide Board Detective Agency.
These outings have briefly been treated as fact and then assertions made about these people's character.
It's actually arguably worse than Rucci or Caro as at least their rumour peddling is done under their own names.
