It's to make up for last year where we played the Adelaide teams in Perth - think it was an agreement we'd reciprocate.

That said, the preseason games are one area where the AFL can redress the travel imbalance, for the two WA teams in particular. Neither us or Fremantle should be getting on a plane for preseason as we do enough in the regular season. Let a couple of the Victorian clubs fly over here

Look you can't expect North supporters to be familiar enough with air travel to know domestic flights don't have 25 first class seats. Or that air travel comes out of our soft cap (if only the AFL helped us like some other teams).
