Wonder if 68 rounds is a record. Shows we haven't had a lot of high quality young talent the last few years. Think Hough and Culley were a bit unlucky last year though.
Ahh well the draught is going to be broken this year surely. Ginbey must be due soon.

Ginbey
Long
Hewett
Culley
Hough
Chesser

Bazzo and Barnett later on this season likely to play, it won't be for a lack of candidates that's for sure

Why does Suma hate Ryan?

"Liam Ryan 6: Solid game, worked up the ground more having 17 disposals, 14 uncontested, but had a game high 11 score involvements and four tackles, on the right track with that performance."

Read much better than a "solid game"

Had him as a poor performance last week when he got at least two HTB fees.
Farkin LOL. 11 score involvements out of 17 possessions, how much more do you want out of a small/medium forward?

I watched it and most of what they said people on here had already covered.

They did a good segment showing how far cripps ran when applying pressure. It was interesting to see how the extra 1% effort was the difference in the game.

They actually made a really good point with that vision. It showed he looked like giving up quite early on and not chase, and then you could see something clicked and he put in the effort and it paid off.

It was Buckley I think who said that split second when deciding whether to go or not is all it takes to get found out against the top sides

Most of the segment was fine, nice to get some air time I guess, but the clip of Cripps was crucial and definitely worth it for Eagles fans to see.

Multiple times Ryan/Cripps/Hunt had runs like that (from memory that wasn’t even Cripps’ best chase of the day) and it changed everything for us when the Giants were trying to loop it over the top and use the spare.

The humiliation in the media following the Roos game seems to be having an impact.

For 3 years now we've seen these lazy efforts from the senior players. Minute they pull their fingers out we win a game.

Maybe by round 20 once those young'ns over east get due recognition

Not related to us but what a miserable piece she is

Gotta love that the same people criticising us for retaining too many senior players are criticising Hawthorn for getting rid of theirs

Had to laugh how Browny thought Simmo could just throw out all of last year's work and this pre-seasons work on a game plan. Then in one week adopt a new game plan.
Last week it worked for a half and this week it gelled for pretty much the whole game. The same bloody game plan just executed better.
