Eagles fans need to be careful with this public smashing of our club. Imagine a young draftee in Vic seeing it. F**k that I don’t wanna go to that disfunctional lot.

Freo would jump at it.Hase thinks if we trade JD to Freo, we would have to pay some of his salary and give them a draft pick.
I know Darling has been poor but he'd still be their best forward.
“Is the currency there right now for Jack Darling? I’m not sure Fremantle, who need another key forward, would be that interested right now in Jack Darling unless the terms were in their favour - a massive salary dump and maybe a pick to come with it - because he’s just not performing.
Is the end coming quickly for West Coast’s Jack Darling?

Yes but we’ve already seen in this last draft ; players coming out and saying they don’t want to go here or there. Interstate clubs then think twice before drafting them. Safer to go home grownAny top 5 draft pick will end up at a s**t club, unless a s**t club did a dumb trade like Freo and lost their first rounder.
Jack can be hell frustrating at times with his brain-glitches and rubber chest. But he's often tag teamed by 2 players, hopefully allowing Oscar more space, and of course there's all his defensive work. It's worth remembering all the bags of goals he has scored, when he's on! In our best 22 team with better mids and supply and good forwards buzzing around, he'll have a better day at the office..he's just as likely to bob up and have a good game, unless he's physically on the slide now?Jack is so strong in one on one contests that teams resort to mugging him.Borders on ridiculous sometimes.
Anybody notice how Barass is getting shoved in the lower back when he is at full stretch for marks. Bloody dangerous!

Must be getting West Coast confused with Gold Coast... has any other club ever engaged in that kind of charity? So we trade out a player, pay his salary and give a draft pick?
I'd love a hit of whatever Hasleby is smoking right now.
Feathers would probably balk at the deal and try pushing for more!So we trade out a player, pay his salary and give a draft pick?

Lol -it's not like we have any salary cap pressure. You'd sooner just have a player in the WAFL then agree to that.Freo would jump at it.
Why the * would we even trade out Darling, whilst giving Fremantle a pick, as well as paying a portion of his salary?
Lay off the crack please Hase.
To be fair, he never suggested a round 1 pick. You can sort of understand it if we were in a salary cap squeeze, and sort of also understand it if our top pick this year would be outside the top 10...
...but in our current scenario with barely any players on top dollar and a lot of minimum wage list cloggers, and a draft pick this year that will be in the top 3? And we pay some of his salary too next year? Clearly the abundance of purple haze isn't just for one round down at Freo Oval.
To be fair, he never suggested a round 1 pick.
Ludicrous idea to be sure but pretty certain he was only suggesting a loose change pick.

That's exactly what Cornes is saying. They all just follow each other, 1 journo() writes something then the rest follow and say the same worded differently.
We don't have a salary cap squeeze, a lot of our big contracts are well past their peak so will get smaller subsequent contracts and there's nobody on our list bashing down the door for a big contract.Hase thinks if we trade JD to Freo, we would have to pay some of his salary and give them a draft pick.
