Bit different. Lobb chose to go to Freo and then tried to bail multiple times. At least the guys who got involved with that beer were Freo podcast hosts. Lobb is at least an adult, he's big enough and ugly enough to push back if he wants to.
Not really.

You take a multi-million dollar deal to move clubs, you're mature enough to cop it on the chin when some unknown brewery on the other side of the country has a joke about an overblown incident spun in the media by your former club.

As someone who only a couple of years ago used to consume nearly every footy show there was and now try to do the opposite......footy is so much more enjoyable by avoiding the general AFL media altogether. Just watch the games you want and ignore the rest.

I realise the irony of posting this in a media thread
I did the same to man. I used to froth all that stuff but by time I got my early to mid 20’s I stopped and I reckon the media and even the nuffy commentary put me off the footy entirely. It got to a point where I went from watching basically close to every game to just ours. It’s only recently I’ve got back to watching more footy again.

The problem now is that so many different cases of booing have all been swirled into one when they're different and you can't have a reasonable discussion on any of them

If it makes you feel any better I know exactly why I boo all your posts.

And whilst we're on the subject I wouldn't mind an Eagles board exclusive "boo" react - we could just use a Boohemian 's Super Mario villain avatar.

Still the best booing ever heard at the footy was before eagles games in the early to mid 90s when Gary carvolth was introduced as the MC for the day…. Pre Langdon

So do I, this would be an interesting poll.

Anyone that says muting the TV and age are directly proportional can GAGF.

I actually mute my TV when watching on free to air or Kayo. It’s that bad. Chalk and cheese between the level of professionalism between NBA telecasts and AFL. Unless of course you get the home commentators in the NBA then they’re just as biased AF

Derms not half bad and does contribute at times but this is footy media in a nutshell 😂

It's a fair point.

Copping one flush on the point of the chin is far less likely to result in structural damage then a hook or cross to your lower left or right.

I can't remember exactly when it was, but there was a game against the Bulldogs at Subi, and Tony Liberatore received a standing boo from what seemed to be the whole ground as he went to the bench late in the game.

They don't boo like that anymore...

The cousins scratching saga / game?

Or probably the follow up game to that.

The crowd got pretty wild in 2014 when Vickery knocked out Cox when we played Richmond at home.

I'll just say this, not naming names, but somebody might be trying to protect their tenuous 20 goal lead as West Coast's 2nd greatest goalkicker. Just sayin'.
I love how Suma's like, "Recurring hamstring injuries? A once-celebrated key forward who looks cooked at the age of 30? Those sort of things never happened in my day!"
